The Newfound Lake Region Association's mission is to protect Newfound Lake and its watershed. The Association - through education, programs, and collaboration - promotes conservation and preservation of the region's natural, social, and economic resources.

The League to Save Lake Tahoe is dedicated to protecting, restoring, and advocating for the ecosystem health and scenic beauty of the Lake Tahoe Basin. The organization focuses on water quality and its clarity for the preservation of a pristine Lake for future generations.

That includes reducing nutrients, sediments, and chemicals that run off of our lawns, parking lots, roadways, farmland, and out of our septic systems. • To educate and engage the community and partner organizations in restoring and protecting our waterways and natural areas. • To restore lost habitats such as oyster reefs, salt marshes, native plants, forests, and other buffers that help to filter polluted runoff and protect our waterways and their marine life."

Forest Trends' mission is to conserve forests and other ecosystems through the creation and wide adoption of a broad range of environmental finance, markets, and other payment and incentive mechanisms. Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) is a statewide nonprofit volunteer organization whose mission is to motivate and enable people to be active stewards of Colorado's natural resources.

Walker Basin Conservancy is leading the effort to restore and maintain Walker Lake while protecting agricultural, environmental and recreational interests throughout the Walker Basin.
