Committee for Green Foothills works to protect open space, farmland, and natural resources in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties through advocacy, education, and grassroots action. Given that we want to achieve longstanding victories, not just immediate successes, we have concrete goals for each of our areas of work. We vigilantly monitor local land use issues and take action when we have the opportunity to move closer to achieving meaningful victories. With a changing climate, predicted extreme weather events, and limits on our planet’s natural resources, our consistent voice for healthy, working ecosystems may be our best investment in the future.

We are a citizen-driven organization which brings together education, science, and collaborative action to sustain Lake Pepin's ecosystem for the long-term, including reduction and remediation of siltation from upstream. We promote clean water, wildlife, and recreational and commercial navigation.

Save Mount Diablo is a nationally accredited land trust and conservation organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Save Mount Diablo has been preserving lands on and around Mount Diablo and educating the public to the mountain’s natural values since 1971. We are biologists, conservationists, hikers, bikers, equestrians, bird watchers, and people who just love to look at the mountain.

The John Fairey Garden Conservation Foundation - Established by John Fairey in 1971, The John Fairey Garden (formerly Peckerwood Garden) is an extraordinary preservation garden on 39 acres near Hempstead, Texas. The garden is widely acclaimed for the originality of its design, its education and conservation programs, and its exceptional collection of over 3,000 plants, including many endangered and rare plants from Mexico, North America, and Asia. Our mission is to preserve, share, and advance the horticultural and artistic legacy of John Fairey.

TennGreen Land Conservancy (formerly the Tennessee Parks & Greenways Foundation) is an accomplished, 501(c)(3) nonprofit land trust dedicated to protecting Tennessee’s natural treasures. Founded in 1998, we are the oldest accredited, statewide land trust in Tennessee. We serve all Tennesseans, and through collaboration with members, private landowners, local municipalities, and state and federal agencies, we work to create parks, establish wildlife corridors, expand existing protected public lands, and enhance public recreation opportunities. We believe that we must do more to protect our natural world so that future generations can enjoy the ecologically-rich, beautiful, and historically-significant treasures that make Tennessee unique.

The Montgomery Parks Foundation champions Montgomery County Parks cultivating financial support and public engagement of county residents and businesses as members, donors, sponsors and advocates. We will inspire charitable giving and cultivate and solicit private donations at all levels to support programs and projects that preserve and enhance Montgomery Parks. We will encourage public support and activism on behalf of our parks and believe such involvement strengthens our community and fosters positive public policy in the best interests of our award-winning park system. We will protect donor privacy, abide by the Donor Bill of Rights and report openly and accurately regarding all Foundation activities, accepting fully our responsibility to serve the public good and meet our obligations.
