Founded in 2001, Action for Cheetahs in Kenya has helped stabilize endangered cheetah populations in East Africa through research, education, and community development. Our mission is to promote the conservation of cheetahs and improve livelihoods of people impacted by carnivores. We are the only cheetah conservation organization focused on conserving cheetah populations outside the bounds of national parks and protected areas. We function as a project under the US-based non-profit organization, Project Survival.

The High Atlas Foundation is a Moroccan association and a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2000 by former Peace Corps Volunteers committed to furthering sustainable development. HAF supports Moroccan communities to take action in implementing human development initiatives. Comprised of musicians, music industry professionals, and fans, Music for Relief is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing aid to natural disaster survivors and protecting the environment. Music for Relief was founded by the band Linkin Park in response to the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Since inception in 2005 MFR has responded to more than 25 natural disasters across four continents including Hurricane Katrina, China's Wenchuan earthquake, a cholera outbreak in Zimbabwe, earthquakes in Haiti in 2010 and Japan in 2011, and most recently the Nepal earthquakes in 2015.Recognizing the consequences of global climate change, Music for Relief expanded its focus to environmental protection and restoration in 2007. Through programs like Power the World, a collaboration with the United Nations Foundation aimed at providing sustainable energy solutions to vulnerable populations, Music for Relief is helping people, wildlife, and the environment.Rooted in the music community, Music for Relief leverages its unique position to reach artists and countless fans around the world to raise funds and awareness for humanitarian causes. We believe that through strategic collaborations we can make a greater impact and work with partners accordingly. 100% of individual contributions go directly to our programs thanks to the generous support of our founders who cover all administrative costs.

Both our Board and Staff members provide the environmental community support and leadership on enforcement of the state's Bay-Delta public trust responsibility, on stopping irrigation of naturally contaminated farm lands in the San Joaquin Valley, and on the speculative water practices of federal and state water projects in California. We educate the public about public trust resource and California's constitutional prohibition of waste and unreasonable use of water, and about alternatives that restore rivers, fisheries, and other public trust resources.
