The mission of the Government Accountability Project is to protect the public interest through promoting government and corporate accountability, advancing occupational free speech and ethical conduct, defending whistleblowers and empowering citizen activists. We pursue this mission through our Nuclear Safety, International Reform, Corporate Accountability, Public Health & Safety, Food Integrity, Homeland Security, Climate Science Watch, Litigation, and Legislation programs.
Rocking the Boat empowers young people challenged by severe economic, educational, and social conditions to develop the self-confidence to set ambitious goals and gain the skills necessary to achieve them. Students work together to build wooden boats, learn to row and sail, and restore local urban waterways, revitalizing their community while creating better lives for themselves. Kids don’t just build boats at Rocking the Boat, boats build kids.
Kentucky Coalition, alongside our sister organization Kentuckians For The Commonwealth, is a community of people inspired by a vision of a thriving society where people are free from oppression and where racial, economic and environmental justice exists for all. Guided by Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and others directly impacted by oppression, Kentucky Coalition and KFTC organizes Kentuckians to dismantle racism, strengthen democracy, and transform the future of our Commonwealth.

We are a non profit group that whom's mission is to enhance the lives of pets and their owners. Our biggest goal is to have a dog park built in our city to allow for pets to have a place to train, play, and spend family time.
Founded in 1947 to promote beautification and to maintain and enhance the natural residential attractiveness of the Toluca Lake area, to aid in the protection of plants and trees, and to create an interest in more beautiful gardens.
SaveNature.Org’s mission is to link people to save wildlife and wild places through the purchase and protection of habitat in nature. SaveNature’s goal is to bring educational equality to those underserved in our community increasing the opportunity for real and personal environmental stewardship for this generation and future generations. Our educational outreach programs provide a pathway for children to wonder and develop an anchor of belonging to their natural environment. Ultimately building a foundation to ensure youth take responsibility for creating a positive change in their lives, in their community, and, in the world.
We provide job training, classes, and recreation opportunities for some of the Bay Area's most at-risk youth. We also offer services to the community including a bicycle shop and repair facility, a full service wooden boat building shop, and Berkeley's only youth-run coffee shop.

The Homeless Garden Project provides job training, transitional employment and support services to people who are homeless. HGP's vibrant education and volunteer program for the broad community blends formal, experiential and service-learning. The programs take place in our 3-acre organic farm and related enterprises.
