READ Saskatoon is a community-based volunteer literacy organization that offers free literacy services to adults and families. With the help of trained volunteers, we have been providing confidential adult tutoring and family literacy programs for over thirty years. The volunteers and four full-time staff work annually with over 2,500 individuals from throughout our community. This number includes: • 175 adult learners • 190 volunteers • 1,800 children • 200 staff from schools, preschools, daycares, business and community based organizations. • 17 different funders: federal, provincial and municipal governments, philanthropists, foundations, businesses and corporations.
DanStaBat Performance Society, DBA Tara Cheyenne Performance (TCP), is devoted to the creation and dissemination of highly physical, character-driven solo works that uniquely blend movement and text. Tara Cheyenne Friedenberg is the Artistic Director of TCP. Friedenberg's artistic vision is to create works that speak to people on the levels of common human experience, our own comic-tragic behaviour, our lives in movement, gesture and dream. The innovative and engaging works are inspired by an interest in a sense of the absurd. The work creates comedy that illuminates and inspires - it is social criticism that flirts with satire and the ridiculous.

The Registered Nurses Foundation (RNF) is a registered, charitable organization (since 1979) committed to the advancement of nursing practice and nursing education. The RNF raises money for bursaries for students enrolled in basic, post-basic, refresher, specialty and graduate education programs in nursing, or involved in nursing research in their education (i.e. Master's or PHD Program). Bursary winners are selected by the Board of Directors each year in October. All board members are volunteers who donate their time and expertise to the Foundation. A portion of the money raised each year is used for administration costs including secretarial support, mail-outs and postage, processing bursary applications and website hosting. RNF meeting space is provided for no charge by the CRNBC. Each year the demand for bursaries increases. Your tax deductible donation will help students and RNs continue their nursing education. Please help the RNF with its Mission!
The Rideau Trail crosses terrain ranging from placid farmland to the rugged Canadian shield. It is only intended for walking (hiking), snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. No part of the Rideau Trail itself is owned by the Rideau Trail Association; the continuity of the trail is made possible by the generous permission of both private and public landowners. Three hiking clubs of the RTA - Kingston, Central (Perth), and Ottawa - organize outings in all seasons of the year. Hikes usually take place on the weekend and comprise an activity appropriate for the season, such as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter and hiking in the spring, summer, and fall. Other activities are scheduled during the week or on some holidays. For more information about hikes, joining or supporting the Rideau Trail visit: http://www.rideautrail.org/ or contact us at: Contact us: info@rideautrail.org RTA P.O. We believe that some things in life should never change...like healthy rivers and lakes, peaceful natural areas, forest walks and safe havens for birds, fish and wildlife. Since 1970, the Conservation Foundation has protected these places of natural beauty, environmental value and spiritual replenishment right here at home in the Rideau Valley of Eastern Ontario.
There are two avenues through which your generosity can bolster our efforts to maintain and improve upon the excellence that our school offers. A gift to the “Ridley College Foundation” bolsters our extensive Scholarship & Bursary program, which provides vital financial aid to deserving students. The Foundation also supports Teaching Professional Development, Facility Maintenance and Prizes and Awards. A donation to "Ridley College" makes available financial support for key programs that we are proud to offer and grants the school the flexibility required to address our most pressing budgetary needs. Every donor has the choice to direct their gift to any area of the school including Academics, Arts, Athletics or Campus Life. Ridley is only as strong as those who support us, so every dollar counts. We thank you for taking the time to consider a donation.
