Ordinary People

The goal of the public organization "Ordinary People" is to provide assistance to vulnerable segments of the population, particularly residents of the most affected regions, primarily Kharkiv Oblast, as well as other areas of our country, during Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The organization's specific objectives include: 1. Providing psychological support to those whose lives have been disrupted by the war, including assistance in conflict-affected and frontline territories, supporting those facing panic attacks, loss of loved ones, adaptation to new environments, despair, and apathy. 2. Creating safe spaces for children and youth, aimed at education, rehabilitation, and entertainment within a social project framework. 3. Assisting local self-government bodies and residents in the reconstruction of residential buildings, public facilities, infrastructure, and cultural-educational life. 4. Delivering urgent aid to the population affected by the damage to critical infrastructure due to Russia's armed aggression. This involves providing necessary resources such as generators, fuel for them, stoves, gas burners, power banks, warm blankets, and others, to ensure alternative sources of energy and warmth. 5. Providing food assistance, including food packages, hot meals, medications, and other essentials for survival. 6. Organizing "Clubs of Ukrainian Resilience" which aim to create a communal space for citizens to offer extensive support to the population of Ukraine, especially those who have displayed unwavering determination, courage, and resilience during challenging and testing periods of the country's history. 7. Establishing warming centers, equipping bomb shelters with electricity, heating, and communication, providing access to psychological support, education, and medical aid. 8. Comprehensive support to hospitals, medical institutions, the State Emergency Service (SES), the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and territorial defense organizations (TDO).
