The Kreisau-Initiative e.V. was founded 1989 to address the need for international understanding, democratic education, and active engagement in human rights, particularly in response to Europe's history of division, conflict, and authoritarianism. The Kreisau-Initiative is committed to promoting democracy, human rights, social inclusion, and sustainability through international educational programs and cross-cultural dialogue. Rooted in the legacy of the Kreisau Circle, a German resistance group against Nazism, its mission is to empower individuals - especially young people - to actively shape just, inclusive, and democratic societies. At its core, the Kreisau-Initiative responds to persistent social challenges such as discrimination, social exclusion, extremism, and a lack of opportunities for youth participation in shaping democratic, inclusive societies. Recognizing that many young people - especially those from marginalized backgrounds - face barriers to education, empowerment, and cross-cultural exchange, the organization promotes non-formal education as a tool for social change. Today, the need for fostering social cohesion, gender equality, human rights awareness, and sustainability remains as urgent as ever. The Kreisau-Initiative continues to address these challenges by creating spaces for learning, dialogue, and action, empowering individuals to become active, responsible members of a democratic and diverse Europe. The organization's priority objectives are: - To foster social cohesion by addressing discrimination, exclusion, and extremism. - To promote human rights education and critical engagement with history to strengthen democratic values. - To advance gender equality and support marginalized groups through empowerment and participation. - To encourage socio-ecological transformation, raising awareness of sustainable development and climate justice. - To provide spaces for intercultural exchange, enabling young people to develop skills in dialogue, cooperation, and civic responsibility. Through non-formal education, transnational partnerships, and youth-centered approaches, the Kreisau-Initiative equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to drive positive social change across Europe and beyond.

HER Fund was set up on March 8, 2004 by a group of women activists in honour of International Women's Day. Our main objective is to raise funds and give grants to support work by women, with women and for women in Hong Kong. Next to this, an important aspect of our work is to raise awareness of women's position and rights in Hong Kong. We are a South African registered charity dedicated to encouraging disadvantaged individuals and communities to develop to their full potential in sport, education and health. We are committed to using sport as a tool to develop the disadvantaged and vulnerable youth. We do this by; 1. Using direct sports coaching - for its health benefits, improved emotional well being and increased life skills (teamwork, leadership, decision making, communication). 2. Using sport to discuss critical issues - by delivering curriculums on topics such as HIV / AIDS awareness in a fun and interactive manner on the sports field. 3. Chunhui Children's Foundation exists to bring family love and care to China's most vulnerable children. Founded in 2004 by a group of young professionals who believed people can make a difference, HandsOn Shanghai is an officially registered non-profit organization with the Shanghai Civil Affair Bureau since 2010. Governed by a board of 11 members, the HandsOn Shanghai volunteer platform helps to bridge the divide that exists between individuals who are looking to give back to their community and the organizations that would benefit from the support that volunteers can provide. With a primary objective of providing flexible volunteer opportunities for busy professionals and serving local charities in needs, HOS manages a big group of volunteers and a diverse range of community service projects in Shanghai Currently we engage more than 2500 volunteers each month through more than 150 local service projects. Mission: Empowering donors to support grassroots NGOs in China At present, most grassroots NGOs lack an effective method for professional fund-raising and most Chinese official foundations provide very limited grant opportunities. The resulting funding gap forces them to focus a disproportionate amount of time on maintaining the operation of their organizations. As a result, they usually have neither the energy nor money to conduct large-scale fund-raising activities or focus on improving the impact of their programs. Shanghai United Foundation (SUF) focuses on fund-raising for grassroots NGOs in an effort to relieve much of the financial burden that limits the growth and impact of promising organizations.
