Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry. Poor nutrition can result in a weaker immune system, increased hospitalization, lower IQ, shorter attention spans, and lower academic achievement. 69% of children in America are on free or reduced meals at their schools. Blessings in a Backpack is designed to feed these kids on the weekends by sending them home on Fridays with backpacks filled with staples that require little to no preparation. Starting at just $100, Blessings in a Backpack can feed a child for an entire school year. Since 2009, Blessings in a Backpack has provided 23.5 million hunger-free weekends for more than 838,000 children nationwide.

Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governments, they develop literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and support girls to complete secondary school with the relevant life skills to succeed in school and beyond. Room to Read focuses on two critical areas of educational development where they believe they can have the greatest impact: literacy and gender equality in education. Under these two initiatives, Room to Read implements five core programmes: School Libraries, Book Publishing, School Construction, Reading and Writing Instruction, and Girls' Education.

Saint David's is an elementary school for boys of all faiths whose parents seek a school program rooted in the moral and theological traditions of the Catholic Church. Pupils are admitted to Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Eight. The school is located at Twelve East Eighty-ninth Street in Manhattan.

Little Kids Rock transforms lives by restoring, expanding, and innovating music education in our schools! Little Kids Rock began in 1996 as an informal effort by ESL teacher David Wish to give his San Francisco Bay Area second grade students a music enrichment program because the school did not have funding for one. What began as one teacher’s effort to bring music education to a few dozen public school children has catapulted into a national nonprofit that serves hundreds of thousands of young people year after year. Little Kids Rock was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2002, and has since expanded with programs in 48 states. We accomplished this by: • Championing an innovative modern band music education that connects learning to the music kids already know and love—styles including rock, pop, hip-hop, country, EDM, reggae, and other contemporary styles as they emerge—performed on guitar, keyboard, bass guitar, drums, vocals, and technology • Recruiting, training, and equipping public school teachers to start music programs utilizing our methods and materials • Partnering with public school districts to provide a quality music education to as many young people as possible—especially those in underserved communities Today, Little Kids Rock is the largest nonprofit provider of musical instruments, program curriculum, and teacher training in the country. Having trained more than 5,000 teachers and served more than 1,000,000 students in 500 public school districts to date, Little Kids Rock has emerged as a national thought leader in the field of music education to become a valued service provider to the U.S. public school system.

Children's Community School provides a first-rate education to Waterbury's disadvantaged inner-city children, grades pre-K through 5, so that they may acquire the personal, academic, and physical tools to determine their own future.

The Dream Builders Project is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in Los Angeles, California in October 2013. Since its beginning, The Dream Builders Project has had one goal in mind: to make a positive difference on the community and the world at large. As a “charity for charities,” The Dream Builders Project is not bound to any particular group or cause. This allows the DBP to join forces with many great and sometimes overlooked charities and nonprofits to make the most profound impact. Some of the main causes The DBP focuses on include homelessness, child abuse and neglect, education, fighting human trafficking, and improving living standards in orphanages across the world. The DBP is dedicated to making the biggest impact per dollar. By doing extensive research and having a vetting system in place, the DBP is able to ensure that all donations and volunteer efforts are spent in the most impactful and productive way possible. To inspire students at middle and high schools nationwide to end social isolation and to create a culture of belonging for everyone. We are a student-led social justice movement and a source of professional development for educators for Inclusion based on Social Emotional Learning evidence-based methods.Beyond Differences is the nation’s leader on social isolation among middle school youth. Since it’s founding in 2010, more than 8600 schools across the country have used Beyond Differences programs and 550,000 students have been impacted.

The Entrepreneurs Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization providing scholarships to deserving under privilege high school students wanting to go to college and current college students to assist them in achieving potential life goals that might otherwise be unobtainable without financial assistance.
