The Canyon Education Foundation is an organization dedicated to supporting the educational programs of the Canyon Elementary School in Canyon, California. Their activities are entirely dedicated to fundraising. The organization is similar to a PTA. Funds are donated directly to the Canyon School each year to make up the difference between actual operating expenses and state funding. While most of the funding is from parents and friends of the Canyon School who give direct donations, volunteers occasionally run fundraising events.

Founded in 1976, Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (MassCOSH) engages youth and adult community members as leaders in promoting safe, secure jobs and healthy communities throughout eastern Massachusetts. Through education, leadership development and coalition-building, youth and adults gain the skills and support to address dangerous work conditions and prevent work-related diseases and disabilities. MassCOSH has a special focus on immigrants and other lower-income adults, and young people of color who often work in jobs that are the most unsafe and unhealthy.

Primary Source promotes history and humanities education by connecting educators to people and cultures throughout the world. In partnership with teachers, scholars and the broader community, Primary Source provides learning opportunities and curriculum materials for K-12 educators. By introducing global content, Primary Source shapes the way teachers and students learn, so that their knowledge is deeper and their thinking is flexible and given to inquiry.
