Not Guilty is a nationwide campaign committed to abolish bullying and sexual abuse of Egyptian children through education and support programs
Our mission is to restore a sense of dignity and pride in young Egyptian women by building their self-confidence and empowering them mentally and physically to develop themselves. Heya Masr targets disadvantaged young girls and boys aged 6-18 to strengthen their character. We do this by providing a safe and nurturing environment for physical activities, nutritional and healthy lifestyle education, character development activities, sexual harassment, and bullying awareness and self-defense strategies. We believe that to make an impact, and we need to educate both young women and men equally. Heya Masr is empowering a young generation of girls and boys now for a better Egypt tomorrow. Heya Masr uniquely targets girls at an early age since we rely on UN studies (1) that indicate that behavioral changes occur at the early stages of development. This approach helps us equip women with mechanisms to rise above the negative impacts of extreme deprivation, abuse, and other adversities in their most formative years of development. We seek a proactive impact on women during adolescence to become stronger, more confident, and independent, thereby positively influencing future generations in Egypt. Our purpose is to reduce poverty, bring hope and solidarity to poor communities or individuals in France and worldwide. We bring assistance to families, children and young people but also to the most vulnerable (homelesses, migrants, prisoners etc.). We fight against isolation, help them to find employement and we ensure their social reintegration. We provide emergency responses but also long term support, development aid and we work on the causes of poverty. The action of Secours Catholique finds all its meaning in a global vision of poverty which aims at restoring the human person's dignity and is part and parcel of sustainable development. To do so, six key principles guide this action, both in France and abroad: Promoting the place and words of people living in situations of poverty Making each person a main player of their own development Joining forces with people living in situations of poverty Acting for the development of the human person in all its aspects Acting on the causes of poverty and exclusion Arousing solidarity The actions of Secours Catholique are implemented by a network of local teams of volunteers integrated into the diocesan delegations and supported by the volunteers and employees of the national headquarters. On an international level, Secours Catholique acts in cooperation with its partners of the Caritas Internationalis network. he World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) is an international non-governmental organisation representing and promoting approximately 70 million deaf people's human rights worldwide. The WFD is a federation of deaf organisations from 134 nations; its mission is to promote the human rights of deaf people and full, quality and equal access to all spheres of life, including self-determination, sign language, education, employment and community life. WFD has a consultative status in the United Nations and is a founding member of International Disability Alliance (IDA). At its recent World Congress in Jeju, South Korea, WFD members (136) approved the WFD strategic direction 2023-2030 and Action Plan 2023-2027. Important themes are covered in these 2 documents which strive to ensure that we create access for all deaf people to all ways of life in "a world where deaf people everywhere can sign anywhere" (vision). Furthermore, our mission is to work towards the full realisation of linguistic rights and human rights in all areas of life, with full recognition and implementation of these rights across local, national and international levels. To realise our mission and vision, the following are part of our Action Plan 2023-2027: Building Capacity across the Globe: ensuring increased participation of women, youth and underrepresented communities; provide effective capacity building projects to countries who are not yet members to assist them with creating their own national deaf associations so that they can represent themselves in their countries; Putting Deaf people on the Agenda: the WFD will continue to strive to put deaf human rights at the forefront of all representation internationally, including at the UN; we will effectively promote International Week of Deaf people and be ready to response to deaf people's needs in times of crises, disasters and war. Realising nothing about us without us: the WFD continues to be the leading authority for deaf people and sign languages and has committed to developing resources to assist deaf people raise awareness in their countries. Achieving Sign Language Rights for all: National sign languages are fundamental to achieving deaf people's human rights. We will aim to assist our member states in promoting the legal recognition of signed language in the country and advocate for early childhood language acquisition and inclusive multilingual education policies. Investing in a strong and sustainable organisation: to carry out our mission and vision we need greater investment in our secretariat and regional secretariat, expand our donor base, increase visibility and fundraising activities so that our organisation can carry on its important global work.

Good governance ensures accountability, fairness, and transparency throughout our social, governmental, and business systems. On the African continent, women are underrepresented at every level in the workplace, especially in senior leadership roles. According to the UN, this type of unequal treatment of women in the workplace has cost Sub-Saharan Africa approximately $105bn and has significant implications on the utilization of the continents full human capital potential and achievement of its development goals. The Boardroom Africa was borne out of these realities. We champion female leadership on a pan-African level by building a network of women leaders who collectively dispel the myth that there aren't enough qualified women to support the growth of the continent. We help build role models at the top to change the way organizations are led through our educational content. We offer a board training program for women across the continent and to date, we've trained 64+ women. We also have built a community of over 1,000 women on the continent leading change and deliver open webinars, trainings, and meetups to upskill this network. Finally, we've conducted publicly released research on 13 African countries to assess the gender gap in their companies. We want to shift the demand by ensuring society realizes the benefits of increased female participation in leadership, and create an ecosystem of women who can go into the world and inspire others.
The objects of the foundation are to transform lives in disadvantaged communities across the Arab world by means of the following (non-limiting): a. advancing the education and learning for the public benefit and in particular to educate men and women and young people of all ages from a broad range of geographical, ethnic, social and economic backgrounds in the Arab world (this includes all member countries of the Arab league), to enable them to realise their full potential as individuals, within society as a whole; b. developing the capacity and skills of the members of socially and economically disadvantaged communities in countries in the Arab world (including all members of the Arab league) in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society; c. investing in and strengthening ambitious social enterprises that act upon pressing needs, in particular children's education, youth employment and women's economic empowerment; d. providing grants and technical assistance to ambitious social enterprises, to enable them to achieve greater financial sustainability and to increase their impact in disadvantaged communities across the Arab world, and; Furthermore all that is incidental or conducive to achieving these objects, including setting up a public fund or the establishment, acquisition, management, holding and disposal of foundations or legal entities or enterprises with an objective that falls within the scope of this foundation.
