ALBERTA BALLET

Alberta Ballet is Canada’s second largest ballet company, globally renowned for its repertoire of classical and contemporary productions. Now in our 47th year, and as Canada’s only arts organization with a province-wide mandate, we embody the finest aspects of Alberta culture while combining the highest level of art and athleticism. Recently, the company has caught the world’s attention for its Artistic Director, Jean Grand-Maître’s ‘portrait ballets’ – collaborations with popular music icons including Joni Mitchell, Sir Elton John, Sarah McLachlan, and k.d. lang. Alberta Ballet reaches thousands of Albertans each season from September to May in addition to performing for audiences across Canada and internationally. The company invites leading and world renowned dance companies, conductors, choreographers, and guest artists to take part in our seasons - bringing the best of the art form to Alberta stages.

THE ALBERTA SAFETY COUNCIL

For over 65 years The Alberta Safety Council (ASC) has been a leader in ‘Making Alberta a Safer Place to Live, Work and Play,’ by offering the most current, cutting edge safety training services, educational materials and safety support to communities across Alberta. Since our inception, we estimate that over 1 million Albertans have been touched by one of our programs. As a self-sustaining charitable organization, the ASC relies on the revenue generated through our programs, services, memberships, as well as the donations and goodwill support from volunteers, individuals, corporations and community partners. But safety comes at a price. Each year, the ASC must turn away thousands seeking safety training and education due to lack of available training space. We must expand our programs and services or run the risk of injury. With your support and a donation, you can ensure that all Albertans stay safe by receiving the necessary training and education to do just that.
