The Saugeen Valley Conservation Foundation is the fundraising arm of Saugeen Conservation.

For more than 40 years, the School has been training dancers who have been inspired by the depth of passion and the physical power of the human body in motion. Contemporary dance is an art form of kinetic expression, which both represents and reflects back to us our contemporary world through the elements of time, space, energy, musicality, and dynamics. It can provoke joy and wonder, sadness and despair, humour and delight, and deep feelings of passion and spiritual awareness. As an art form it keeps us profoundly in touch with others, with our environment, and with ourselves. Philosophically, training emphasizes the whole dancer - body, mind, and spirit - since excellent movement training engages the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our humanity. The School affirms its commitment to the education of all aspects of an individual through its strong and varied curriculum and through the provision of excellent role models in its faculty and guest artists.

Over the years, Science North has grown from a one-building science centre to a world-class and world-renowned organization, including an IMAX® Theatre with 3D capabilities, a 6,000 sq. ft. Special Exhibits Hall, a digital planetarium, the F. Jean MacLeod Butterfly Gallery, and an earth sciences centre - Dynamic Earth, home of the Big Nickel - at a separate location. Science North's mandate is to serve all of Northern Ontario, our new office in Thunder Bay, Science Camps and Outreach Programs are crucial to accomplish this goal. Science North must self-generate 60% of its revenues through admissions, memberships, on and off-site businesses and philanthropic efforts. Our fundraising efforts help Science North remain relevant, current and dynamic. They allow us to enhance and renew our visitor experiences, ensuring that Science North is doing its part to make Northern Ontario an exciting place to live, work and play. The Society for Educational Visits and Exchanges in Canada (SEVEC) is a national charity offering youth learning programs available to groups of young Canadians between the ages of 12-17 years old. All programs are located within Canada. Programs run during the summer as well as the school year and include: -Second language exchanges -Thematic exchanges (music, geography, sport, history, etc) -Aboriginal youth exchanges -Exchanges focussing on leadership, community engagement, and volunteer skills -Educational travel across Canada -Educational roundtables

The Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton is launching a fundraising campaign to better serve the city's growing number of sexual assault survivors. We currently provide individual and group counselling services to child and adult survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault at no cost to clients. We also do community outreach and education, staff a 24 hour crisis line and provide specialized treatment services for new Canadians who have experienced war rape in their country of origin. The online campaign asks for donations in exchange for sending a “candle of hope” to a friend. We appreciate your support. Light a candle in the darkness. Dare to be aware.

As Canada’s premier polytechnic, SAIT is renowned for its training expertise spanning the trades through to applied degrees. Curriculum development is supported by partnerships with business and industry to ensure graduates have the skills and knowledge required in the workplace. SAIT Polytechnic is developing a forceful presence in the burgeoning field of applied research and technology commercialization. Education and training are enhanced through applied research, technology transfer and innovation activities. SAIT conducts applied research based on identified industry need aimed at specific commercial objectives. SAIT students don’t just learn about things, they learn how to do things.

Founded by Maxim Mazumdar in 1979, Stephenville Theatre Festival has enriched the economic and cultural fabric of the Bay St. George area while becoming a major tourism draw for the region. The festival has also been widely recognized for having made a substantial contribution to the development of theatre in Newfoundland and Labrador. The festival has provided training and hands-on experience for numerous artists, many of whom are now among the top professional artists in the province and country. The festival creates employment for a significant number of people each year and attracts a large number local residents and visitors. These factors make it a significant economic generator for the Bay St. George area. The festival's longevity can be directly attributed to the fact that it is created by, for, and with the community it calls home. Stephenville Theatre Festival values those who have lent their support through the years and look forward to continued and new support.

Stepping Stones Day Care Society has been providing services to families in Grande Prairie Alberta for 35 years. Originally started as a Day Care it now offers a variety of integrated Family Resource Programs; Day Care, Family Child Care, Inclusive Child Care Program, Early Childhood Resource Centre, Centre for Early Learning Preschool, Respite & Nutrition Program and a Parent Link Centre. The Society believes that "Healthy families will build a healthy community".Working with young parents, many isolated from their families and communities of origin we provide child care, support programs and parent education. Many of our programs are free of charge to families.Stepping Stones works actively to promote Quality Child Care programming throughout the Northwest Region of Alberta by managing a contract for the Alliance of Early Learning Programs, a program that provides consultation to 99 ELCC programs.Our operational budget is strong but we struggle with maintaining our aging buildings.
