CORE VALUES As the voice of anglers and hunters, the OFAH will professionally represent Ontario’s anglers and hunters, their hunting and fishing rights and traditions, and their passion for hunting and fishing, and for fish and wildlife conservation. The OFAH supports, and will seek to enhance, Ontario’s rich traditions of hunting and fishing, and the quality of life they represent. The OFAH will promote, encourage, and seek to ensure the conservation of Ontario’s fish and wildlife, their habitats, and the ecosystems that support them, to ensure continuing benefits to anglers and hunters, and by extension, to all of the people in Ontario. The OFAH will encourage, conduct and lead proactive fish and wildlife management, individually and in cooperation with others, to ensure the conservation of resources, the protection and enhancement of our hunting and fishing heritage, and the provision of benefits to meet the needs of Ontarians.

The Federation of BC Naturalists (BC Nature) is a federation of local natural history groups, formed in 1969 and now represents 50 local nature clubs with 4700 members throughout BC. As a grassroots, largely volunteer organization, BC Nature works to protect and educate naturalists, the public and decision makers about the natural history of British Columbia, including its biodiversity, species at risk, and parks and other natural areas. Our members participate in many groups that help shape public policy on our environment. Our member clubs are at the forefront of many conservation and stewardship projects, and most clubs organize nature outings and speakers in their local communities. BC Nature is the lead organization for these projects in BC: Wildlife Tree Stewardship, Important Bird Area Caretakers, Wildlife Viewing, Living by Water and Provincial Park Interpretation. The FMCBC is a federation of mountain and outdoor recreation clubs representing most regions of British Columbia. Its membership of approximately 4500 includes hikers, climbers, mountaineers, backcountry skiers and snowshoers. As a registered BC Society and federal charity the FMCBC is funded by membership dues and donations. It also receives grants from public agencies and private organizations for specific projects. The FMCBC offers third-party liability insurance to member clubs.

The Friends of Point Pelee are a co-operating association with Point Pelee National Park in Leamington Ontario Canada. We were formed to provide services, resources and support for research, education and ecological integrity preservation in and around the park. We operate a number of visitor services inside the park, such as the Nature Nook (the store in the Visitor Centre), the canoe & bicycle rentals and the Cattail Cafe (at the Marsh Boardwalk). We also operate the transit system that shuttles visitors from the Visitor Centre to the Tip. The proceeds from sales and services support our operations as well as the Parks Canada Mandate and Point Pelee National Park initiatives.

For many years the Friends of Quetico Park, has sponsored summer students for assistance with the Park’s summer programs. By assisting programs such as the Natural Heritage Program, an educational program run for youth that visit Dawson Trail Campground, we have helped educate Canada’s youth about the beauty and cultural wonders of our park. We have assisted the John B. Ridley Library with numerous students over the years to support library services. We have purchased books and shelving units for the library to broaden its collection and its appeal to all visitors to the Dawson Trail Pavilion. Members of the Friends of the Garden (FOG) are individuals and families who support the botanical, horticultural and environmental objectives of the no-for-profit registered Canadian charity called Memorial University Botanical Garden Inc. With a membership of almost 500, some Friends volunteer their time and expertise in such activities as trail patrol, carpentry, maintaining the Wildlife Garden, growing plants for the popular plant sales, as well as a sponsoring special events. Volunteers have assisted the Botanical Garden since its inception in 1971. The Friends offically formed in 1976 and became a charitable organization in 1977.

Goodwill Industries of Alberta is a not for profit agency that provides training and jobs for Albertans with disabilities and employment barriers. The Grand Valley Trail is a marked footpath stretching 275 km between Rock Point Provincial Park on Lake Erie (south of Dunnville) to the town of Alton, near Orangeville. The Grand Valley Trails Association is a non-profit organization administered by a board of directors, elected each year at the annual general meeting. The Board holds regular meetings. The mandate of the association is to build and maintain hiking trails in the Grand River Valley/Watershed.

The Club is a nonprofit, volunteer naturalist organization and a land trust holding five sanctuaries . We are also a registered charity. We fulfill our mission through membership meetings, a newsletter, field events, public education programs, nature sanctuary acquisition, special projects and partnerships with like minded conservation organizations. LAMBTON WILDLIFE INCORPORATED is a nonprofit, volunteer, naturalist organization, founded in 1966, and is licensed as a charitable corporation under the Income Tax Act.
