The Lung Association, Manitoba is a member of the Canadian Lung Association, which has been working to improve the lung health of Canadians for over 100 years. We are a non-profit, registered health organization that relies on donations from the public to fund our activities. We are the premier source of lung health information and initiatives in Manitoba. Our efforts are focused on lung disease education & management, tobacco cessation & prevention, improved air quality & environment, tuberculosis and occupational health services. Sancta Maria House provides residential care within the context of family life. Since 1961, it has been providing a loving, caring and secure home for young women between the ages of 15 to 19. The young women may be experiencing family conflict, problems with cultural adjustment, abuse (physical, emotional or sexual) and/or the need to develop life skills.

All our services are free and confidential offering a comprehensive range of crisis support, counselling, information and advocacy services for those who have been sexually assaulted, sexually abused and experienced childhood sexual abuse/incest. Services also include a 24-Hour crisis line, indidvidual/Group counselling, accompaniment to hosptial, police, court etc., information and referral, public education and rural and native outreach.

Funds can be designated for various projects such as Saskatchewan Emergency Assistance (SEAP), Saskatchewan Public Engagement projects or general donations.

SES is committed to a healthy environment and sustainable resource use in Saskatchewan. We work to encourage informed decision-making that moves us towards sustainability. We undertake research, and use education, community outreach, consultation opportunities and demonstration projects. For over 30 years, SES has established a reputation for responsible, intelligent work. SES has been a primary influence on policy related to energy, land-use planning, forestry, hazardous materials, and renewable and non-renewable resource development. Through our educational programs we have reached thousands of young Saskatchewanians. The way we use water will be one of the major sustainability issues we will be working on. The renewed interest in nuclear power will require careful monitoring, research and critique. Climate change will bring new demands on our ingenuity. Our province, our country and our world need a strong, well-staffed and stable SES as we move into this future.

Family Service Saskatoon is a not-for-profit organization which has been strenghtening people, nurturing relationships and building communities for over 80 years. Our staff are fully qualified and experienced counsellors and group facilitators. Our Board of Directors is comprised of citizens dedicated to providing leadership and services to the community. We are accountable to our clients and to the community. We serve the whole community and all families, no matter what they might look like. We help them to build on their strengths, make positive changes in their lives and look forward to happier futures. We are committed to a collaborative work style. Many agency programs and projects are provided in partnership with other agencies. We support many coalitions, research collaborations and planning groups to ensure the best possible service delivery for our community.

The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Center Inc. (EGADZ) is a community based inter-agency organization that provides resources and actively supports services that empower youth at risk to help themselves to reach their full potential. EGADZ provides a safe acceptable place for youth at risk with links to the families, and has the support of the community. EGADZ has youth involved in expressing their needs and determining services they require meeting them.

Our motto at Youth For Christ is "Geared to the times, Anchored to the Rock". We want to creatively reach out to hurting youth through our various initiatives. At Youth for Christ our goal is to make disciples of Jesus who have characteristics of Christ. We believe young people have incredible gifts and can be trusted to lead. We believe through strong partnerships with churches, our quality staff, God centered board members and committed volunteers we can influence hurting students one person at a time.

The Saugeen Valley Conservation Foundation is the fundraising arm of Saugeen Conservation.

Scarborough Women's Centre provides information, education and support to women in transition away from abuse, isolation and poverty, towards economic and emotional independence. The Centre was recognized with the City of Toronto Mayor's Community Safety Award for its work with abused women and their children. Women from many different backgrounds, enrich each other through their experiences. Here are some examples of what your donation can do: $50 - one woman builds her self confidence through an 8 week group $150 - 12 women learn to improve their health through a special workshop $200 -two volunteers train as mentors with women in transition $500.00 – one woman supported to achieve her goal to leave abuse through 3 months of counselling $1,000 - 20 women develop personal strategies for success through an 8 week course The Centre raises 1/2 of its income from fundraising activities. Founded in 1941 by the Rev. Morris and Annie Zeidman, The Scott Mission is a non-denominational Christian organization responding to the needs of the poor, homeless abandoned and vulnerable of all ages. Based in Toronto, the Mission offers practical, emotional and spiritual support for thousands of people each year. Among other services, the Mission offers daily hot meals, a low-cost daycare, a summer camp for children and youth, free good-quality clothing, groceries, shower and laundry facilites for the homeless, an overnight program, shelter, an after-school program and friendly visitation and retreats for shut-ins. While religious belief and practice are never conditions for receiving help and assistance, and everyone is welcome regardless of faith background, The Scott Mission is committed to the spiritual well-being of all people through the life and witness of Jesus Christ.

Second Story Women's Centre provides information and referral on a wide variety of topics. There is a drop-in Centre with a library of pamphlets, videos and books. Counselling is available by appointment. One-on-one assistance is available with crisis intervention, accompaniment and advocacy.
