Our roots are with an informal organization called Broadway on Site began in 1996. It was designed to bring the theater experience to young students in the north suburban area of the Twin Cities who had a desire to learn about theater (or who perhaps just wanted to be in a play). Broadway on Site continues to offer theater programs through local Anoka Hennepin School District’s Community Education programs. Starting in 2010, Broadway on Site added an “advanced, audition-only group” experience for students who have satisfactorily completed four previous Broadway on Site productions.  In 2012 the informal organization producing the advanced shows was organized into what is now known as Northern Starz Theatre.

Our mission is to deliver access to the benefits of high-quality, tuition-free music education. Through intensive instruction and performance, our students achieve excellence in music that transfers to other areas in life. They grow musically, socially, emotionally and intellectually, and develop a foundation of responsibility, self-esteem, resilience and purpose.

Masterwork is dedicated to enriching and supporting the cultural life of the community through professional-level choral performances and the promotion of music education.

The mission of The 52nd Street Project, a community-based arts organization, is to bring together kids from Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan, starting at age ten and lasting through their teens, with theater professionals to create original theater offered free to the general public. By building on the core experience of accomplishment and collaboration, the Project fosters a sense of inclusion in a place where the children belong and where their creative work is the driving force. Through long-term mentoring relationships and exposure to diverse art forms, the Project seeks to expand the children's means of expression and to improve their literacy, their life skills, and their attitude towards learning.

The mission of John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is to fulfill President Kennedy's vision by producing and presenting the greatest examples of music, dance, and theater; supporting artists in the creation of new work; and serving the nation as a leader in arts education.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is dedicated to preserving and teaching the evolving history of country music—from its early, traditional roots to its present-day manifestations as a community-based music and a thriving form of popular culture.

TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT THE CREATION OF NEW MODERN DANCE WORK BY BOTH ESTABLISHED AND EMERGING CHOREOGRAPHERS; PRESERVE OUR MODERN DANCE HERITAGE THROUGH CONTINUED PRESENTATION OF CLASSIC WORKS, AS WELL AS THROUGH ARCHIVAL EFFORTS; BUILD WIDER NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONALAUDIENCES FOR MODERN DANCE; ENHANCE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART FORM AND ITS CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE; AND TO PROVIDE A SOUND SCIENTIFIC / AESTHETIC BASE FOR PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF DANCERS AND A FORUM FOR INTEGRATING AND DISSEMINATING INFORMATION ON DANCE EDUCATION.

The Geffen Playhouse is a nonprofit theater arts organization, formally affiliated with UCLA, that is dedicated to enriching the cultural life of Greater Los Angeles through plays and educational programs that inform, entertain and inspire.

The Chicago Theatre Group, Inc. (dba: The Goodman Theatre) productions are created for Chicago, by Chicago artists, and brought to life with passion, commitment, and the highest standard of quality.

Los Angeles Opera created a sensation with its debut production of Verdi's Otello starring Plácido Domingo in October 1986. Under the leadership of Founding General Director Peter Hemmings and then Plácido Domingo, Los Angeles Opera has grown to become a company of international stature. New York City Ballet's contribution to dance in the 20th Century can be measured in many ways, perhaps none more significant than the extraordinary number of ballets - including those by co-founding choreographers, George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins - that the Company has commissioned and that are performed today by dance companies across the United States and the world. Creating such an unparalleled collection of works would not have been possible without the support of contributors who recognized the immense value of furthering the art of ballet through the development of new works. With momentum from an extraordinary 50 years of creative activity, New York City Ballet entered the new millennium committed to further expanding the ballet repertory in the 21st Century by providing opportunities for choreographers, composers, designers, musicians, and dancers to create new work.

As the Nation's foremost producer of Shakespeare, the Public Theater is dedicated to acheiving artisitc excellence while developing an American theater that is accessible and relevant to all people through productions of challenging new plays, musicals and innovative stagings of the classics.
