Prologue Performing Arts

For 47 years, Prologue to the Performing Arts has been broadening the horizons of students in Ontario by introducing them to the world of the performing arts. We believe that experiencing live performing arts is essential to a fuller and richer appreciation and understanding of the arts and of humanity. Exposure to the performing arts enhances the development of self-expression, critical and imaginative thinking and communication skills. The professional artists’ contribution is crucial and should be recognized, honored and supported by structures that allow them to grow artistically. All Canadian young people and families are entitled to equal access to the performing arts.

TARA CHEYENNE PERFORMANCE

DanStaBat Performance Society, DBA Tara Cheyenne Performance (TCP), is devoted to the creation and dissemination of highly physical, character-driven solo works that uniquely blend movement and text. Tara Cheyenne Friedenberg is the Artistic Director of TCP. Friedenberg's artistic vision is to create works that speak to people on the levels of common human experience, our own comic-tragic behaviour, our lives in movement, gesture and dream. The innovative and engaging works are inspired by an interest in a sense of the absurd. The work creates comedy that illuminates and inspires - it is social criticism that flirts with satire and the ridiculous.

REGISTERED NURSES FOUNDATION OF BC

The Registered Nurses Foundation (RNF) is a registered, charitable organization (since 1979) committed to the advancement of nursing practice and nursing education. The RNF raises money for bursaries for students enrolled in basic, post-basic, refresher, specialty and graduate education programs in nursing, or involved in nursing research in their education (i.e. Master's or PHD Program). Bursary winners are selected by the Board of Directors each year in October. All board members are volunteers who donate their time and expertise to the Foundation. A portion of the money raised each year is used for administration costs including secretarial support, mail-outs and postage, processing bursary applications and website hosting. RNF meeting space is provided for no charge by the CRNBC. Each year the demand for bursaries increases. Your tax deductible donation will help students and RNs continue their nursing education. RIDEAU VALLEY CONSERVATION FOUNDATION

Since 1970, the Conservation Foundation has protected these places of natural beauty, environmental value and spiritual replenishment right here at home in the Rideau Valley of Eastern Ontario.
