Brandywine Battlefield Park serves the educational needs of the public through the preservation of the cultural landscape and the interpretation of the largest single day battle of the American Revolution. The Brandywine Battlefield Park Associates, a non-profit communitybased organization, supports and assists the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission by conducting the daily operations of the site.

The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy protects and restores exceptional places to provide our region with clean waters and healthy forests, wildlife and natural areas for the benefit of present and future generations. The Conservancy creates green spaces and gardens, contributing to the vitality of our cities and towns, and preserves Fallingwater, a symbol of people living in harmony with nature. Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities, has recognized the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy as one of the top ten charities in the nation! Over the last decade, we have consistently received exceptional Charity Navigator ratings for financial health, accountability and transparency.

The Dayton International Peace Museum is America's only brick-and-mortar peace museum. The Museum raises awareness of nonviolent strategies for building peace and inspires a local, national and international culture of peace through both permanent and guest exhibits, workshops, a children's camp, a teen group, live music series, podcasts, book clubs, an international intern program. We house the most comprehensive exhibit on the Dayton Peace Accords found anywhere.

Montpelier embraces its unique identity as a monument to James Madison, a museum of American history, and a center for constitutional education that engages the public with the enduring legacy of Madison's most powerful idea: government by the people. As the lifelong home of James Madison, Father of the Constitution and Architect of the Bill of Rights, Montpelier's mission is to communicate Madison's role in creating our modern, democratic government.

The Daufuskie Island Historical Foundation is a non-profit Corporation organized exclusively for the educational, scientific and charitable purposes for the preservation of the cultural heritage of Daufuskie Island, South Carolina.  The Foundation shall also participate in acquisition, holding, preserving and restoring historical sites, buildings, structures, records, paintings, books, artifacts and like things.  The proper marking of historical sites and the study of history in general shall be accomplished with the purpose of furthering public knowledge and appreciation of Daufuskie Island.

Established in 1992, Woman Made Gallery (WMG) works for the equal representation and recognition of women's art. Woman Made Gallery supports, cultivates and promotes the diverse contributions of women in the arts through exhibitions and other programs that serve, educate and enrich the community.

The Adler Planetarium is a private, not-for-profit cultural institution whose mission is to encourage public interest in astronomy, its history, and to engage and educate a diverse audience in the exciting quest to understand our evolving universe. As part of a new multi-phase visitor experience plan, in 2005 the Adler embarked on a transformation from a traditional planetarium into the world?s premier space science center.

This mission is typically expressed (in publicity, marketing, and internal training materials) as "The March Field Air Museum is a nonprofit educational institution dedicated to promoting an understanding of humanity's reach for the skies and March Field's pivotal role in the development of flight." The museum's slogan is "Reach for the Skies!"
