The International Child Art Foundation (ICAF) was founded in April 1997 as the national arts organization for American children and the global arts organization for children worldwide. Your support will help foster American children’s creativity and develop mutual empathy among them and their peers worldwide for a prosperous and peaceful future. - We organize the Arts Olympiad, a school art program that has grown over the years into the world’s largest. - We produce the World Children’s Festival at the National Mall across from the U.S. Capitol. - We publish the ad-free ChildArt quarterly to enhance young readers' global competencies. Our Healing Art Programs revive faith in nature of child victims of natural disasters. Our Peace through Art Programs restore trust in humanity of children living in conflict zones. Over the past twenty-seven years, ICAF has changed the world for children. More than five million schoolchildren have benefited from ICAF’s free-of-charge programs. An estimated two million students, parents, and teachers have attended ICAF festivals, exhibitions, and conferences in over twenty major cities worldwide. The readership of ChildArt quarterly has grown to an estimated 220,000. Through ICAF, children gain a sense of self-worth and confidence in themselves as creators. They recognize that they are the future and their imagination can change the world for the better. Funding The D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, the Pennington Family Foundation, the Milton and Sally Avery Art Foundation, the Skillman Foundation, the Warner John IV Foundation, and the Robert J. Bauer Family Foundation have supported ICAF this year. Current in-kind supporters include Penguin Random House, Winsor & Newtown, and Kuretake, Ltd. of Japan. Since none of the largest private foundations support ICAF, creative-empathic individuals provide the lion’s share of funding.

Modern-day Chautauqua brings together scholars portraying an historical character through that character's own words and writings and includes interactive audience participation through Question and Answer segments and workshops designed to further explore the historical character and their times.

With roots reaching into all 50 of the United States this coalition can harness invaluable political scope and influence. To elevate a cause or to overturn policies that target black people in any one state or community, the group will draw on members with local connections to use their visibility and influence for good in theater and on the national stage.

Silence the Shame, Inc. is dedicated to revolutionizing mental health in vulnerable communities. Our holistic approach addresses the root causes of mental health stigma, reduces suicide rates, and improves overall health outcomes. We believe in treating mental health as a spectrum, focusing on wellness, prevention, and recovery in addition to illness. By recognizing the connection between mental and physical well-being, we strive to eliminate barriers to care and advocate for better environmental conditions. Through innovative programs promoting health literacy, equity, positive youth development, and self-care, we are creating a culture of support and healing. Join us in our mission to transform mental health care and make a lasting impact on underserved communities. Our mission is to empower and educate communities on mental health and wellness. We work to redefine mental health beyond illnesses and how we care for ourselves. We curate programs, digital content, and resources to promote health equity and normalize behavioral health care. STS partners with professionals and subject matter experts to change how we think and discuss mental health to drive more people to care and recovery. STS creates platforms for individuals with lived experiences to share and encourage others to prioritize mental wellness. WHAT WE DO Mental Health Literacy STS signature programs include Community Conversations, Self-Care Socials, Mental Wellness Seminars, and evidence-based training like Mental Health First Aid, Question Persuade & Refer, and Counseling on Access to Lethal Means. to eliminate mental health stigma, practice healthy coping strategies, and access behavioral health resource. We utilize media platforms, including podcasts and social media content to further expand mental health education. Positive Youth Development STS Youth Mental Wellness COPE Clinic & Silence the Shame University (STSU) offers workshops, self-care activities, and discussions for youth and young adults to learn about mental health, crisis signs, and coping skills. We support the Youth Advisory Council and Ambassador to build youth leaders and amplify their voices. Caregivers attend a Parent Café to raise resilient teens. STSU engages college students in prioritizing their well-being and supporting their peers in accessing behavioral health resources. Community Outreach & Engagement We promote the implementation of mental health awareness strategies, self-care activities, and community outreach to support vulnerable populations at-risk of behavioral health challenges. We promote whole health and mental wellness all while combatting discrimination and the shame associated with mental illness.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is America's national institution for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history, and serves as this country's memorial to the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust. The Holocaust was the state-sponsored, systematic persecution and annihilation of European Jewry by Nazi Germany and its collaborators between 1933 and 1945. Jews were the primary victims --- six million were murdered; Gypsies, the handicapped, and Poles were also targeted for destruction or decimation for racial, ethnic, or national reasons. Millions more, including homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Soviet prisoners of war, and political dissidents also suffered grievous oppression and death under Nazi tyranny. The Museum's primary mission is to advance and disseminate knowledge about this unprecedented tragedy; to preserve the memory of those who suffered; and to encourage its visitors to reflect upon the moral and spiritual questions raised by the events of the Holocaust as well as their own responsibilities as citizens of a democracy. Chartered by a unanimous Act of Congress in 1980 and located adjacent to the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the Museum strives to broaden public understanding of the history of the Holocaust through multifaceted programs: exhibitions; research and publication; collecting and preserving material evidence, art, and artifacts relating to the Holocaust; annual Holocaust commemorations known as the Days of Remembrance; distribution of educational materials and teacher resources; and a variety of public programming designed to enhance understanding of the Holocaust and related issues, including those of contemporary significance.
