The Abraham Lincoln Memorial Squad is an all-volunteer group of individuals: men and women, older and not so old, veterans and non-veterans, who render Military Honors for the veterans interred at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Members of the Memorial Squad Render Honors four days a week; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Honors on Wednesdays are rendered by a different group.
The Yiddish Book Center works to tell the whole Jewish story by rescuing, translating, and disseminating Yiddish books and presenting innovative educational programs that broaden understanding of modern Jewish identity. The organization works to advance knowledge of the content and literary and cultural progeny of the books we've save. Beyond having saved more than one million Yiddish books since its founding in 1980, the Yiddish Book Center advances knowledge of the content and literary and cultural progeny of the books its saved through educational programs, translation initiatives, and the Wexler Oral History Project among others.

The Polish Museum of America, the crown jewel of the Polish-American community in Chicago and one of the nation's first ethnic museums, collects, preserves, interprets and promotes materials, artifacts and history that chronicle Polish history and the Polish-American experience. The Museum also houses a Library and extensive Archives, which are routinely used by historians, researchers, students and genealogists.
