The NABU Foundation, established in October 2020, is the heart of an inspiring initiative. Our mission is based on educational and workshop activities, mainly focused on children and youth. As a non-profit organization, we aim to create a space where talents, creativity and passions develop, while supporting local communities. As part of our statutory activities, we offer unique meetings, educational, artistic and sports activities and workshops, as well as fascinating educational trips. Our recipe for effective learning is to use a personalized method both within and outside of formal education. Thanks to the innovative A.J. Hoge method, we teach foreign languages, conduct classes in robotics and programming, and inspire in the fields of digital painting, traditional drawing and videofilming. In addition, our activities also include DIY creative workshops, outdoor survival activities and premedical aid courses. Our priority is to help children from families at risk of social exclusion, the sick, the disabled and the exceptionally gifted. All our activities involve Ukrainian refugees, whom we have been supporting for 2 years. We act not only to support the current generation, but also to prepare them for a future in which they can make a positive difference in the world. Our goals and activities include: 1. Initiating and supporting activities aimed at raising the educational standards of citizens. 2. Engaging in activities related to science, higher education and the general development of education and upbringing. 3. Participating in projects related to culture, art, protection of cultural property and national heritage. 4. Undertaking charitable activities for the benefit of various communities. 5. Acting for ecology, animal protection and preservation of natural heritage. 6. Focusing on activities for children and young people, including the creation of friendly spaces for families to spend their free time. 7. Proactively preventing the emergence of social problems by encouraging children and young people to spend their free time actively. 8. Helping children and young people develop their talents and achieve their educational and sports goals. 9. Supporting children and young people from poor backgrounds or those without parental care in acquiring knowledge and skills. 10. Promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among children and youth in rural and urban environments through recreational, sports, tourist and sightseeing activities. 11. Creating favorable conditions for practicing various sports, developing educational disciplines, especially among children, youth and the elderly. 12. Promoting health protection through proactive health education. 13. Supporting local initiatives that contribute to community development. 14. Strengthening social integration processes by fostering human ties and promoting universal values. 15. Engaging in activities that support community development. 16. Facilitating integration, professional development and social reintegration of marginalized people, including the poor, unemployed and disabled. 17. Implementing measures to prevent the processes of poverty, marginalization and social exclusion. 18. Supporting initiatives that promote the development of entrepreneurship and social economy. We have been organizing activities for children, teenagers and adults for 3 years now. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience that enables us to organize engaging and effective activities for the audience. These include educational, sports, creative and integrative activities. We support our students so that they can change the world for the better in the future. Our employees are passionate people, experienced in working with children, and in many of the activities we also have volunteers working with us. We create a community of people who want to gain knowledge and share it. We are constantly expanding our possibilities and we plan to increase the reach of our services. Despite the rather short time of our running, we have already achieved a lot - through our activities we have reached a significant number of people, effectively responding to the needs of the local community, and the initiatives we have carried out have been a great success.
The To The Future Foundation works for the benefit of the local community in Wroclaw. It brings together people from diverse backgrounds and ages. The foundation supports children, teenagers, people at risk of social exclusion, people with disabilities, and their guardians. We focus on spreading and promoting European values such as democracy and human rights, supporting cultural and historical education among young citizens of Europe (including shaping the attitude of active citizens and volunteers), acting for tolerance, peace, and understanding between nations, promoting self-development through non-formal learning methodologies, and encouraging social inclusion by promoting lifelong education and the development of 21 competencies for underprivileged groups. Therefore, we organize and participate in local events, meetings, seminars, workshops, and exhibitions, and cooperate with non-governmental organizations and local authorities to improve healthy behaviors and attitudes, better mental health and well-being, and equalize economic opportunities and gender inequalities for women. We are also involved in voluntary service. We focus on building stronger communities by engaging young people to participate in local projects and cooperation to help ensure social inclusion, increase self-confidence, self-esteem, and enhance mutual understanding. One of our most important projects is "Disability via Art." This project aims to create a dedicated space where people with disabilities and seniors can actively participate in artistic workshops, breaking down societal barriers and promoting mutual growth through the transformative power of art. People with disabilities and seniors often face isolation, and their access to artistic expression and communal engagement is limited. This project seeks to address these challenges by providing an inclusive environment that encourages creative expression and social interaction. Overcoming preconceived notions about the abilities of individuals with disabilities is a key challenge, and the project aims to change perceptions through meaningful engagement. This year, we have also focused on the elderly. We have organized support groups, activities, and excursions for them to alleviate loneliness, poverty, and social exclusion. We realized how important it is because nobody wants to be alone, especially in their old age. By incorporating seniors into the art-centric initiative alongside individuals with disabilities, the project strives to boost seniors' sense of empowerment and involvement. Through artistic expression, seniors can discover a revitalized sense of purpose and connection, enriching their lives with meaningful experiences. To address the challenges at hand, we created a dedicated space that accommodates the unique needs of people with disabilities and seniors. This space serves as a hub for artistic workshops, fostering creativity, self-expression, and social interaction. This initiative, known as the "To The Future Disability via Art" project, is designed to address the issues of isolation and inactivity that often accompany these conditions. The core of the project involves conducting workshops tailored to the needs and interests of individuals with disabilities and the elderly. The aim is to create an inclusive environment that encourages active participation and combats the tendency for these individuals to stay at home, feeling excluded from broader social activities. In summary, the mission of the To The Future Foundation is to create a more inclusive and equitable society by supporting and empowering individuals at risk of social exclusion. We aim to foster social integration, promote lifelong education, and enhance the overall well-being of these individuals. By building stronger communities and encouraging positive relationships, we strive to create a future where everyone feels valued and included.
The Foundation's mission is creating the foundation for a happy future society without war, discrimination, and life devoid of meaning. We believe in the genius of every child. We know how to create an environment in which, in partnership with parents, a young child develops into a worthy individual, capable of intelligent and systematic thought, ethically mature, and positively influencing society. The main goal of the Jednosc Foundation is providing teenagers with a refugee and migrant background (including unaccompanied minors) comprehensive educational, psychological, and social support to help them thrive in Poland, build skills and confidence to navigate their new lives in Poland.

Board of European Students of Technology is a non-profit and non-political organisation that since 1989 strives to improve communication, cooperation and exchange opportunities for European students. The mission of BEST is to help students achieve an international mindset, reach a better understanding of cultures and societies and develop the capacity to work in culturally diverse environments. To achieve this mission BEST offers high quality services to technology students all over Europe. These services include a European engineering competition, academic courses, career events and events on educational involvement. BEST offers these events in 96 European Universities, spread among 34 countries, reaching over one million students, with the help of 3300 members. It is BEST's mission to provide complementary, non-formal education in every event that it organises. This to make sure that the students that are reached grow to their full potential before they enter the job market. It is essential for BEST to show students the value of complementary education, not only to widen their perspective on the technology topics covered in their studies, but also to teach them the needed soft skills. To begin, these soft skills are covered in BEST's events by bringing students together with its two other stakeholders, universities and companies, and letting them dialog. Secondly, BEST provides specific training sessions to teach students how to acquire these skills in a safe and stimulating environment among peers. Lastly, this is done not only towards outside students, but also towards BEST's own members. By letting them organise events after they had a thorough knowledge transfer and did some in-depth training sessions, they acquire a lot of hands-on experience that makes them valued assets on the job market. In all this soft skill acquirement, there is one thing that makes BEST special: everything happens in a culturally diverse environment. BEST's volunteers really learn how to cooperate with project members from all over Europe and also the outside students are introduced to a specific mindset that BEST likes to call 'the BEST spirit'. This means that everyone works together, respecting each other's backgrounds, to achieve a common goal: empower students and give them a voice in today's society. For this donation campaign BEST would focus on the educational involvement that it stimulates among European students. It is namely very unique that an organisation run by students offers their peers a voice by collecting data in surveys and events and presenting that data to the relevant authorities. BEST, therefore, attends a lot of conferences about education to be able to share our outcomes to the fullest. We hope to raise some donations in this campaign to be able to carry out next year's planning around the theme of Digital Literacy. This theme focuses on how prepared students and universities are for the upcoming digitisation wave. It raises the question of how we will learn and teach digital skills and how industry 4.0 will make its way into our education. For this program BEST invests in conducting surveys, doing symposia on education and writing scientific papers with the purpose of disseminating the outcomes. It is not the first time that BEST is going to conduct such an Educational Involvement Programme. Last year, for example, the theme was 'Diversity in STEM education' and the years before we covered topics such as pedagogical skills, new teaching methods, relation between university and industry, etc. So what were the steps BEST undertook to create all the materials around last year's topic? First, a team was created to do research on existing literature about 'Diversity in (STEM) education'. Based on that research a survey was created in which 4 diversity types were tackled: cultural diversity, ethnic diversity, gender diversity and students with disabilities. Then, after the answers of the survey were gathered and analysed, the subtopics for the BEST Symposia on Education were identified: in this case, each symposium had a different diversity type. The same team that worked on the content creation of the symposia also prepared and delivered the sessions of those symposia. After the events, the input of all the participating students is gathered in a scientific report, which is then either published in conferences, or disseminated through social media and newsletters. The approach used last year proved to be a successful one and will be repeated in this year's Educational Involvement Programme. If we manage to get more funds via Global Giving, this will mean that we can elaborate this process and spend more resources on content creation, promotion of the surveys and dissemination of our results. In short: we will be able to make a lot more noise in the educational world.

At ReFOCUS Media Labs, our mission is to empower asylum seekers and refugees by equipping them with modern media skills to overcome the challenges they face, such as limited access to education, language barriers, financial constraints, mental health support, skills training and job placement. Through our three Media Labs (Lesvos, Athens, Krakow and Berlin), workshops and original content productions on location we provide comprehensive education in photography, filmmaking, audio engineering, and graphic design. Moreover, we actively collaborate with our students in the production of impactful dramatic films and documentaries. Our media labs provide critical support for community members who normally struggle to integrate into their new host countries and find their way into competitive industries. Through working on our own professional media projects including feature films and our original podcast "Fractured", community members gain valuable real-world experience working on collaborative teams, develop their own professional portfolios, and earn living wages to ensure financial security in the process.
