RIJ is an independent non-profit organization that funds projects for people displaced by conflict around the world. RIJ supports projects that provide opportunities for people to lead an independent normal life while staying near to home and their loved ones; projects that enable people to give back to the community and make valuable contributions to the local economy as well as rebuilding their own future.
To create social transformation through offering high-quality educational programs in the areas of bilingualism, culture and the arts to underserved communities in Cali Colombia that will empower children and youth to thrive, becoming competitive and bridging the gap of inequality.
Fundacion Via Cocina is a community based project focused on improving the health and economic development of vulnerable women, youth and underprivileged in Medellin Colombia. With a personalized training and mentoring system sharing healthy food recipes, cooking techniques and applied financial planning and entrepreneurial small business fundamentals, we build a program for individuals and families based on their current reality, applying the training to objectives created with them, for them, in their own home. Additionally, we provide classes to individuals and groups who want to learn to cook healthy dishes with local ingredients for their families, transforming them into uncommon flavors that are low in fat, oil, salt and sugar-free. These activities look to decrease frequency and severity of non-communicable diseases in the communities, including obesity, diabetes and cholesterol.
The Universidad del Norte Foundation, in accordance with the principles, values and objectives that have guided it since its creation, has as its mission the integral formation of the person in the field of higher education, and the contribution, through its institutional presence in the community, the harmonious development of society and the country, especially the Colombian Caribbean Region. The Foundation carries out this university work both in the undergraduate modality and in advanced training, its work being characterized by a broad social and humanistic content, and by the emphasis on scientific and investigative foundation to respond to the requirements of the progress of science and the social needs of the region and the country. The Pan and Panela Foundation Non-profit entity aimed at contributing to the needs of food, clothing and comprehensive care in vulnerable communities in the city of Barranquilla and/or the department of Atlantico. Likewise, it seeks to stimulate cultural and recreational activities that aim to improve the quality of life of people who are in a condition of poverty and/or extreme poverty through the creation of projects, programs and alliances with public and private entities.
AIPC Pandora is a non-profit organization that works to generate the knowledge and the capacity of action needed at the international level for the construction of a more just and peaceful world. For this, we develop Global Learning Experiences for educational, intercultural, solidarity or professional insertion in one of the 57 countries in which we are present. We work both in Outbound / Outbound and Inbound / Host projects in Spain, offering transformative experiences based on the "Learning-Service" methodology that form global citizens in how to intervene in the great challenges of the world today.

VISION: While supporting the population in the development of resources a living in a world of limitation, create awareness, knowledge, and resources to plant the seed of social, educational and labor inclusion. THEORY OF CHANGE: If we attend the needs of people with disabilities according to their specific needs and we create awareness to open opportunities for inclusion, this population can earn a living by performing based on their skills and capabilities and live a better life without dependency on others.
Panorama Sostenible Foundation's mission is to overcome the conditions of indignity prevailing in this community with dire social situation, due to lack of opportunities and displacement in order to transform the children and their community into a sustainable and inclusive society; We focus on its vulnerable populations through comprehensive training educational programs that help improve children's lives as well as the community's standard of living and creates conditions for a dignified life, reduce the effects of social corruption while always keeping in mind the preservation of the environment.
The Juan Pablo Gutierrez Caceres Foundation has been working since 2007 supporting Colombian graduate students that do not have the economic resources to pursue postgraduate studies. So far, 346 scholarships have been awarded to students that are positively transforming their personal, academic and working lives and supporting the development of their communities.The candidates' profile has been students interested in critical areas for Colombia's development, leadership and with limited economic resources to pursue postgraduate studies. A successful process starts with the selection of the right candidates where the Foundation ensures that the resources obtained by donations are properly used. We also have procedures and structures that follow the performance of students. We ensure that each scholarship awarded ends with a successful degree. The Foundation provides a space of familiarity and mentoring to children, adolescents and young people who inhabit the south west of Bogota, promoting their social development through the teaching of techniques, knowledge and skills for life, so that they can empower and transform their environments which have been characterized by conflict. The work is developed through reading clubs, pedagogical and cooperative entrepreneurships, and by promoting participation and leading roles in all activities.
