Holy Trinity, Trinity Square

Church of the Holy Trinity, founded in 1847, is a unique Anglican community characterized by informality, where both traditional and contemporary worship are available. It is a church of inclusivity, both in language and comprehensive lay participation. The Christmas Story, our traditional Nativity pageant, has been held annually at Holy Trinity since 1937, telling the magnificent story of Christ's birth with a volunteer cast and professional choir and organ.

CINEWORKS INDEPENDENT FILMMAKERS SOCIETY

Cineworks Independent Filmmakers Society was formed to promote and encourage the production, distribution, and exhibition of independent film in British Columbia. Functioning as a production co-operative, Cineworks provides its members with the production and post-production equipment, facilities, information, related support structures, and environment necessary for independent filmmaking. The society also offers member services and programming initiatives in the form of networking opportunities, hands-on workshops and seminars with visiting filmmakers, an active website, a monthly newsletter, and the programming of independent Canadian films. Cineworks arranges and presents public exhibitions and discussions aimed at increasing film awareness and knowledge and encouraging a growth of film analysis.

CLIFFORD BOWEY SCHOOL FOUNDATION

The Clifford Bowey School Foundation is managed by the School Council which includes parents and staff members. The Foundation raises money to support school programs and new initiatives. Over past years, donations to the school have contributed towards the Snoezelen room, swimming pool equipment, items for the toy library, and classroom learning materials. The school recently installed a new primary playground and is currently raising funds to upgrade the senior playground.

COLLEGE-MONTROSE CHILDREN'S PLACE

Since 1983 Children's Place has offered a wide range of flexible, accessible, FREE early learning & family support programs. Today we serve over 2000 families from 11 different locations in central west Toronto. Programs include: family drop-ins, child development activities focusing on & exploring senses & developing motor skills, occasional childcare, community outreach, family literacy, food & nutrition support, parent & caregiver support & education, peer contact & mutual support, play & recreation, health & safety promotion, information about & referrals to other resources, toy & book lending. Our staff and volunteers are able to communicate in different languages including English, Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Somali, Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu & Italian. Participants include: young children 0 to 6, parents, expectant parents, very young parents, parents/caregivers/children with special needs, grandparents, nannies & home providers, newcomer & immigrant families.

The College of New Caledonia (CNC) is a post-secondary educational institution that serves the residents of central British Columbia. The college was established in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada in 1969 as a successor to the BC Vocational School. CNC takes pride in the fact that for almost 40 years, we have been making a difference in the lives of individuals and local communities. Our success is evidenced in more than 100,000 graduates who have gone on to obtain employment and/or to pursue other higher learning after starting or completing their post-secondary education at CNC. Community Legal Education Association (CLEA) is a registered charity that helps Manitobans learn about the law and our legal system. We have been providing our many services and programs, most of them free of charge, since 1984. Our programs help promote access to justice by fostering an understanding of our justice system. Some of our specific programs include: - The Law Phone-In & Lawyer Referral Program - a free telephone legal information and lawyer referral service, - Publications written in plain language on a variety of legal topics, - Free presentations about the law for community groups and schools, - Training courses about the law for community service providers, - An annual law conference. COMOX VALLEY ARTS

The Comox Valley Community Arts Council works to facilitate, activate and advocate on behalf of arts and culture in our community. Through our involvement in a wide variety of activities, we pro-actively support the cultural creators and workers of the Comox Valley. CVCAC is a registered charitable non-profit organization that receives public & private funding to sustain and grow its programs, and for general operating costs. Additionally, we raise revenue through memberships, fundraising events and art sales. We co-ordinate and co-sponsor art shows and workshops, literary projects, public art, performing arts events and children’s programs including the Youth Mural Mentorship Project. We also take every opportunity to promote our member groups. Going forward we are working to enlivening the cultural fabric of the entire Comox Valley with new programs & projects, professional development for artists, public arts connections and more!

Conrad Grebel University College is comprised of a residence and an academic program on the campus of the University of Waterloo. Grebel houses 174 students and is home to 50 off campus associate students who meet at Grebel for Chapel and a variety of activities. Grebel is home to the Music and Peace and Conflict Studies (PACS) departments. The college also runs a graduate program in theological studies through its Masters of Theological Studies degree and administering the Toronto Mennonite Theological Centre (TMTC)
