The Sacramento Zoo inspires appreciation, respect and a connection with wildlife and nature through education, recreation and conservation.

Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary, a non-profit 501(c)(3), since 1986 is located twenty-eight miles north of Reno and is a safe haven for injured, abandoned and otherwise non-releasable wild animals who act as ambassadors for their species. Animal Ark offers a recreational educational experience for people of all ages. It conducts outreach programs in the local schools and wildlife/environmental tours for children and adults alike at its 38 acre facility. Interpretive signs and Docents give visitors the opportunity to learn about the world around them. Our Staff consists of educators, biologists, veterinary students, and college students in addition to retired individuals. All share a love of wildlife and sharing what they know!

The Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association educates, inspires, and engages the community to take action to keep wild salmon here for future generations.

The mission of Wild Salmon Center is to conserve the healthiest wild salmon, steelhead, and trout ecosystems across the North Pacific. We identify the strongest habitat and populations -- what we call "strongholds" for wild fish -- and preemptively protect them for the benefit of the people, wildlife, and jobs that rely on wild salmon to thrive.

Golden Gate Audubon is dedicated to protecting Bay Area birds, other wildlife and their natural habitats. We conserve and restore wildlife habitat, connect people of all ages and backgrounds with the natural world, and educate and engage Bay Area residents in the protection of our shared, local environment.

Eden Reforestation Projects is a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to foster healthy relationships between communities and the land on which we all depend through landscape restoration and conservation. We work with local communities to restore landscapes on a massive scale, thereby creating jobs, protecting ecosystems, and helping mitigate climate change.

Odin’s Heart Wildlife Rehabilitation Inc’s purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release back into nature injured, ill or orphaned wildlife; give treatment and sanctuary to animals; and to provide free education to public with regards to wildlife.

To acquire, maintain, restore and natural areas that predominantly contain endandered and threatened flora and fauna.

Our Mission: To discover, describe and protect key insect species and inspire the next generation to care for these crucial components of a healthy planet for the betterment of all. Our Purpose: Hidden Wonders aims to contribute to our understanding of the crucial role that insects play within a variety of ecosystems by discovering and explaining the behavior and interactions of insect species before they become extinct. By sharing the discoveries of new insect species and explaining their role in maintaining a healthy planet, we aim to inspire the protection of those species and their ecosystems into the future. We partner with private and public park systems and government bodies, such as forestry management, to amplify our impact and to reach the broadest audience possible, with a particular focus on young people - the future stewards of our planet.
