The Center for Wildlife's mission is to build a sustainable future for wildlife and their habitats through medical care and treatment for sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals, research, and environmental education programs for the public. We treat more than 2,200 animals brought to us by the public and connect with more than 15,000 people through our environmental education programs. Over 30 colleges students and young professionals are hosted each year as interns, fellows, and apprentices in our medical clinic and education programs, and we attract over 80 volunteers to assist with direct animal care, education, and fundraising.

Wildlife Rehabilitation through Quality Care and Public Education

Sweet Binks is a long time animal rescue organization which is an all volunteer, nonprofit organization. We assist with the care, treatment, rehabilitation and release for orphaned and injured wildlife. We hope to bring the same kind of awareness to our wildlife neighbors that we brought to domestic rabbits through our facility, public outreach and education. We currently focus on the rehabilitation and release of small mammals, skunks, fawns, migratory songbirds, game birds and waterfowl. We also hold both a sheltering license (for domestic rabbits) and mandatory wildlife (state and federal) permits.

Chance at Life Cat Rescue is a not for profit, 501(c)(3) Public Charity founded in 2010. We are dedicated to rescuing, caring for and placing homeless cats in the hands of caring people.The Chance at Life Rescue family is founded on the principals of education and practice of kindness and respect for all animal life, including the importance of spaying and neutering in order to slow the nationwide trend of needless euthanasia.

The mission of The American Association of Zoo Keepers is to advance excellence in the animal keeping profession, foster effective communication beneficial to animal care, support deserving conservation projects, and promote the preservation of our natural resources and animal life.

The Wolf Conservation Center teaches people about wolves, their relationship to the environment and the human role in protecting their future. Founded by Hélène Grimaud in 1999, the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit environmental education organization working to protect and preserve wolves in North America through science-based education, advocacy, and participation in the federal recovery and release programs for two critically endangered wolf species - the Mexican gray wolf and red wolf. The WCC's three 'ambassador wolves' reside on exhibit where they help teach the public about wolves and their vital role in the environment. Through wolves, the WCC teaches the broader message of conservation, ecological balance, and personal responsibility for improved human stewardship of our World.

Our mission is to involve and educate the public about the estuary’s water quality and the importance of shellfish. We believe that by involving the public in the care, feeding, and life cycles of the shellfish they will better understand what an integral role shellfish have in our lives.ReClam the Bay is a local, non-profit environmental organization that promotes environmental involvement and education in a constructive and helpful way. Together we grow and maintain millions of baby clams and oysters in the Barnegat Bay Watershed which includes Barnegat Bay, Manahawkin Bay and Little Egg Harbor bay

The Shark Angels are leading a positive, contagious movement to save sharks – and the oceans. We are a passionate, global community that believes in the power of education, media and local grassroots campaigns. We raise awareness to the critical issues, educate children, change perspectives, and empower and connect advocates to act locally to save sharks and the critical ecosystems they support.

We are a small rescue group operating in the Massachusetts, New Jersey and the New York area that only rescues dogs from high kill shelters and southern rescues. This means a majority of dogs admitted there are euthanized due to lack of space. We very rarely take in owner surrenders, and do not acquire animals from anywhere else besides these shelters we have worked with for years. When we started the rescue in 2007, our collective mission was clear: save at-risk dogs from high-kill shelters and place them in loving, forever homes for the benefit of the dogs and humans alike. We believe the best way to end pet overpopulation and animal cruelty is a unified front with local shelters, other rescue groups and the community. We were so committed to this that we used to drive 12 hour days to save homeless animals, and bring them back to our houses. Now we use USDA certified transporters, and we are proud to be a 501c3 non-profit agency that saves many lives each year.
