VISIONS OF THE WORLD was started with the mission to raise awareness, change perceptions, educate and support those who need representation. While creating the series of fine art photography books LIFE Behind Bars, I realized the importance of the thankless work done by the wild animal sanctuaries and conservations groups to save species and how crucial it is for me to give back and support their efforts to protect and preserve endangered species and their habitats. Barn Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abused and neglected farmed animals by creating a safe haven where these individuals can recover, thrive, and serve as an example for why we strive to lead society towards a plant-based lifestyle. We greatly appreciate that Animal Planet has given us the opportunity to be featured in Saved by the Barn but we do not receive any compensation from the network. We rely completely on donations from individuals and foundations to support our work. Barn Sanctuary is a Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS) verified animal care sanctuary.
