Our mission is to serve our community by being a fun and educational place to visit. The agricultural history of Michigan is important to preserve and share. At the Petting Farm we are committed to educate children, families, school students and all visitors in a fun and interactive environment. The farmland at the Petting Farm and on-site structures, such as the Zeeb Barn and Griffith Station, give our visitors the opportunity to learn about what an authentic farm looks like inside and out while enjoying interactions with all the animals that reside here. The Petting Farm at Domino's Farms is unique and memorable destination that we take great pride and joy in.

An international tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the Purple Martin (Progne subis) species of bird through scientific research, state-of-the-art wildlife management techniques, and public education. The PMCA's scientific staff conducts research on all aspects of martin biology throughout the bird's North, South, and Middle American breeding, wintering, and migratory ranges. The organization functions as a centralized data-gathering and information source on the species, serving both the scientist and the martin enthusiast. Its major mission is educating martin enthusiasts in the proper techniques for managing this human-dependent species.

African People & Wildlife (APW) works to ensure a future where humans and wild animals thrive living side by side. We partner with local communities to create effective, sustainable solutions that improve the lives of rural Africans while protecting the natural world.

The mission of the American Littoral Society is to promote the study and conservation of marine life and habitat, protect the coast from harm, and empower others to do the same.

The mission of Fins Attached is to conduct research, promote conservation, and provide education for the protection of the marine ecosystem.   We believe in the preservation of our world's precious resources and that, through the protection of the oceans apex predators, marine ecosystem balance can be maintained for the benefit of all living things on earth.

They are dedicated to helping fund new beehives, teaching Children about the importance of agriculture and bees as well as funding further research into what is causing the extinction of bees.

Providing permanent sanctuary for non-releasable bats, the protection and conservation of wild bat colonies, promoting the humane treatment of bats in captivity, educating the public about the importance of bats, and training animal care professionals on the proper treatment of bats. We believe that great animal rescue organizations are judged not just by the scale of the work that they do, but by the impact that work has on the lives of the animals they serve. We actively work with zoos, researchers and animal shelters to offer an alternative to death. Many of the bats in our care have lived terrible lives before coming to us. We provide the security and privacy they need to recuperate from their previous existence. Our facility is currently the only accredited bat sanctuary in the world.

The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center: ~ conserves and protects all species of marine turtles both in the water and on the beach; ~ rescues, rehabilitates, and releases sick and injured sea turtles; ~ informs and educates the public regarding the plight of all sea turtles and the threat of their extinction; and ~ provides an experiential learning site for students of biology, wildlife conservation, and/or veterinary medicine from around the world.

The Philadelphia Zoo, America's first zoo, is dedicated to its mission of conservation, science, education, and recreation. The core purpose is to advance discovery, understanding, and stewardship of the natural world through compelling exhibition and interpretation of living animals and plants. As an educational and recreational resource, the Zoo serves over 1.2 million people every year. It also provides special educational programs for over 560,000 children, teachers, and other adults. With the Zoo's broad reach and diverse constituency, the Zoo's mix of visitors mirrors the diversity of the local community.

"Fellow Mortals is more than a place; it is a living philosophy based on the belief that encouraging compassion in humans toward all life brings out the finest aspects of our humanity." We believe that individual life is important and do not support the practice of euthanizing healthy animals to limit numbers or conserve resources, i.e. management by euthanasia. We provide care for all species of wild birds from eagle to sparrow, as well as for non-predatory mammal species. In order to meet the increasing need for services, we continue to work to expand our facilities and staff.
