Feeding Pets of the Homeless believes in the healing power of companion pets and of the human/animal bond which is very important in the lives of many homeless. They find solace, protection and companionship through their pets. They care for their pets on limited resources so they themselves have less. Our task, nationwide, is to feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to their pets and thus relieve the anguish and anxiety of the homeless who cannot provide for their pets. A community based non-profit 501c(3) organization that rescues cats and kittens from high-kill shelters and at-risk homeless situations, providing them with a no-kill shelter and on-site medical care, seeking loving permanent homes for them. A community where all cats and kittens are spayed or neutered and safeguarded or sheltered.

Compassion without Borders brings brighter futures to animals in need on both sides of the border. We focus our efforts where the need is the greatest, but where animals are the very least likely to be helped due to financial, geographic, and cultural barriers.Our programs include a dog rescue program from Mexico and the Central Valley, along with free veterinary wellness and spay/neuter clinics in underserved communities on both sides of the border. We also have a humane euthanasia program in Mexico, where we are actively working to stop electrocution, a common method of killing unwanted animals south of the border.

Local Anne Arundel County branch of the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (AASPCA) is located in Annapolis, MD and includes a no-kiill shelter for cats, dog, and other unwanted pets.

The MaxFund is a non-profit organization established to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners and to find new homes for these animals once they have recovered. Further, the Maxfund is committed to the following goals: Develop and implement education programs pertaining to animal care, with emphasis on the importance of spaying and neutering. Disseminate information on spay/neuter facilities and, to conduct spay/neuter clinics for pets of low income families. Be a voice for the animals on issues of animal welfare Cooperate with other animal facilities/shelter in accomplishing these goals.

The mission of Monmouth County Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals is to protect and advocate for all animals. We are dedicated to enforcing animal cruelty laws; providing a safe haven for homeless, abused and abandoned pets while they await adoption; reducing pet over-population through spay/neutering; and cultivating their humane treatment through education and service as a valuable community resource.
