Healing Paws for Warriors is a veteran founded / veteran led 501(c)(3) that provides rescue-to trained ADA certified service dogs to veterans faced with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Military Sexual Trauma (MST) at “no cost” to the veteran with continued support. Our team is comprised of a combat medical war veteran, practicing PTSD therapist, professional service dog trainer, a veterinarian, and many other supportive volunteers. Our dogs come only from local rescues. Our service dog trainer teaches the dogs and the veterans as a team. The dogs are not pets, they are service dogs with the complete protection and rights granted by the American with Disabilities Act. Support Dogs, Inc. is a national not-for-profit organization providing highly skilled service dogs to individuals with disabilities and uniquely trained therapy teams in the community, offering dignity, hope, and independence to those we serve.

Horses & Heroes is dedicated to providing the dynamic healing and learning benefits of equine therapy to veterans, first responders and others affected by stress or trauma.

For 40 years, the Bird Rescue Center’s purpose has been to assist the public in the rescue of injured, orphaned or ill wild birds. We are licensed by State and Federal Fish and Wildlife agencies (Permit #MB7074770) to treat and release these birds back into the wild. The Bird Rescue Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our offices and primary care facilities are located in Santa Rosa, California. Our service area includes the northern San Francisco Bay counties of Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Lake and Mendocino. Over 90% of our operating budget comes from memberships, grants and donations from local businesses and individuals, and 90% of our staffing hours are provided by volunteers. BRC has recently received awards and grants from the City of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County in support of our Education Program and organizational development. We depend on the efforts of our dedicated volunteers, and contributions from caring individuals.

Thoroughbred Placement Resources, Inc. improves the lives of Thoroughbred racehorses, both active and retired by providing training and rehabilitation while educating the public through the development of Breed Ambassadors.

Founded in 2016 our mission is to educate humans on canine body language and behavior. To rehabilitate canines that were born with learning disabilities or surrendered to local shelters for basic canine behaviors that have gone unchecked. Our motto: "Education through rehabilitation one relationship at a time."

The mission of So Cal Bulldog Rescue is to bring about a time when there will be no more homeless bulldogs and every bulldog born can be guaranteed a good life. So Cal Bulldog Rescue provides the care and time that an otherwise unwanted bulldog needs in order to be placed in better homes. We find homes for the English Bulldogs that need them.

RRP exists to facilitate placement of thoroughbred ex-racehorses in second careers by increasing demand for them in equestrian sports and serving the farms, trainers, and organizations that transition them.

The goal of Retrieving Freedom is to place and match completely trained assistance dogs with a level of commitment to the recipients that is second to none! As strong as our desire is to train the best assistance dogs, it is also to be a part of their new connection with the people that need them.

Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc. was established for the charitable purpose of:• Rescuing, raising, and training the highest caliber medical service/assistance dogs• Pairing highly trained dogs with individuals afflicted by disabilities, including a focus on veterans with combat wounds • Building/restoring independence and improving quality of life, for both the recipient and the dog, while minimizing reliance on government, communities, caregivers, and families• Advancing successful service dog training practices by promoting appropriate trainer education and contributing to related research studies• Pursuing increased public awareness and education regarding current disability laws and contributing to new/enhanced laws regarding service dogs
