WE ARE A DOG RESCUE ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO SAVING HOMELESS, ABUSED AND NEGLECTED GERMAN SHEPHERDS AND MIXES, AND TO PREVENTING HOMELESSNESS AND CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.

DFW GSR is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless German Shepherds across the state of Texas. Most of the GSDs brought into our rescue program come from area shelters, though we also take in strays and owner surrendered GSDs. Over 40% of the dogs coming into our program are underweight, malnourished, and needing months of rehabilitation.

German Shepherd Rescue of Central Texas strives to save German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes from neglect, abuse, and premature death. We give rescued dogs a chance to have the good life they deserve through rescue, adoption, referrals, and behavior counseling. We do not sell dogs. We adopt intelligent, sensitive beings into homes where their personalities and potential will be valued.

Good Shepherd Rescue & Sanctuary of Texas provides rescue and sanctuary services for dogs (primarily German Shepherds) found as strays, adopted from shelters, and owner surrenders. The dogs are spayed or neutered, treated for any medical conditions, and placed up for adoption through an application and observation process. Sanctuary is provided for unadoptable dogs.

First Coast German Shepherd Rescue is a home-based, breed-specific foster and adoption rescue serving Northeast Florida’s 'First Coast.' They rescue German Shepherds from shelters or surrender situations, provide veterinary care (vaccinations, heartworm treatment, spay/neuter), behavioral support when needed, and place dogs into carefully screened forever homes.
