Gainesville Rabbit Rescue

Tommy Cat Foundation rescues, provides lifetime care and safe shelter for cats and kittens with special needs. The group focuses on animals that are medically or physically challenged and provides medical care, lifelong sanctuary, and public education about differently‑abled companion animals.

The PSPCA rescues animals from cruelty and neglect, rehabilitates them medically and behaviorally, and places them with new, loving families. We bring our mission to life through the lifesaving efforts of our Humane Law Enforcement division, in-house Shelter Hospital, low-cost veterinary services, behavior and enrichment program, humane education, and placement of abandoned animals in loving forever homes.

Small Miracles is a No-Kill Shelter. We exist to rescue unwanted and homeless cats and dogs and provide them with shelter and medical care until we match them up with appropriate new owners willing to adopt them. Every animal we help contributes to reducing the overpopulation and the need to euthanize the animals.

Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP), an all volunteer, non-profit organization, exists to rescue, protect and provide care for at risk pets. We promote lifelong adoptions while focusing on spay/neuter and the education of animal welfare. SAAP serves the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area.

The Grand Strand Humane Society (GSHS) takes in animals brought in by the City of Myrtle Beach Animal Control. We are committed to the care and humane treatment of all homeless and abandoned animals in the Myrtle Beach Metropolitan Area. When we made the decision to step out of the cookie-cutter style of shelters and stop euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals for space, it was the right decision and we felt the only option for the GSHS. The decision did increase our financial struggle, but we will continue finding every healthy, adoptable animal a forever family as long as it is financially feasible. We are further committed to providing excellent guest service to people visiting our facilities in the hope that all our animals can find caring and loving homes. We also work at educating our community about responsible pet ownership and finally, to investigate and attempt to prevent cruelty to all animals. We strive to provide all communities within our area with cost-effective adoption rates as well as spay/neutering and preventative healthcare services.

Our mission is to promote the well-being of animals through SAVE: Spay/Neuter, Adopt, Volunteer and Educate. We provide housing and care to homeless and unwanted pets, and have welcomed thousands of animals since 1975. We strive to find good, loving, permanent homes for all of them.
