HART’s mission is to rescue homeless animals, saving them from euthanization, abandonment, and abuse with the goal of placing them in forever homes.
Central Texas SPCA is a small non-profit adoption center. We are not a public drop off and do not accept stray animals or owner surrenders. We rescue dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia by pulling them into our shelter from high kill shelters. We provide them with a unique home-like shelter with spacious indoor condos for the cats, size-appropriate crates for the dogs, as well as outdoor kennels and off-leash play areas for the dogs. For over 30 years, we’ve been dedicated to personalized, force-free, 1:1 care and attention of each and every one of our rescued animals to ensure they are healthy, and well-adjusted before their adoption. Our adoption process is informative and pleasant with a friendly staff. Since 1988, we've rescued over 7,000 dogs and cats from other shelters and found
P.A.W.S. of Grays Harbor protects dogs and cats until united with family.
We are passionate about educating children and adults on the care and respect for all animals. To provide refuge to animals that would otherwise be euthanized and to remove those who are in neglectful or abusive situations. Here they will be provided with the best nutrition, housing and love. Having room to roam and play, interact and socialize with other animals, the sanctuary gives a second chance to animals that would have no hope of a decent life, instilling trust in their hearts, so they may feel safe and loved.

We achieve this by transporting 100's of cats and dogs out of the shelters here in Palm Beach County to our facility in Manchester NH and other shelters in New England where they are adopted.

Harpseals.org seeks to bring about a permanent end to the massacres of harp seals in Canada. We are utilizing mass media and grassroots activism to raise awareness about the continued killing of the seals in Canada and are promoting a boycott of Canadian seafood to pressure the sealers (who are fishermen) to call for an end to the killing. Harpseals.org is focusing on the power that Americans have to stop this slaughter because Americans buy about 70% of Canadian seafood exports. Harpseals.org is working to spread the message about the Canadian seafood boycott through mass media advertising, such as billboards, radio and television commercials, and print ads and through grassroots outreach, including leafletting, tabling, speaking engagements, and demonstrations. We also seek to educate the public and raise funds through special events that generate media attention. We welcome volunteers of all ages with all kinds of skills and interests and creative ideas.
