They provide and fund medical care for sick or injured animals, run foster and adoption support programs, and promote spay/neuter, vaccinations and adoption to reduce homeless pets.

Grass Roots Rescue is an all‑volunteer 501(c)(3) dog rescue that pulls at‑risk and owner‑surrender animals from shelters and the community, provides veterinary care and foster homes, and places animals in permanent adoptive homes. They also run community outreach (spay/neuter help, food assistance, and education) to promote responsible pet ownership.

Penguins International is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and protecting penguins around the world. To accomplish this mission, we actively engage in penguin conservation, we educate the public on threats to penguins, and we conduct scientific research investigations to understand penguin biology and best methods for conservation, three activities that go hand-in-hand to fully understand these amazing species of birds and protect them for all to cherish. Small Miracles is a No-Kill Shelter. We exist to rescue unwanted and homeless cats and dogs and provide them with shelter and medical care until we match them up with appropriate new owners willing to adopt them. Every animal we help contributes to reducing the overpopulation and the need to euthanize the animals.
