Downtown Dog Rescue is an all volunteer run non profit organization that believes in second chances for both dogs and people. We rescue dogs and provide services for low income pet owners in under served communities in Los Angeles County.

CORRAL pairs at-risk girls with rescued horses to promote healing, transformational growth and ultimately, lasting life-change. The CORRAL Riding Academy is a youth-serving nonprofit operating out of Cary, North Carolina. This program’s mission pairs at-risk girls between the ages of eleven and eighteen with rescued horses to promote healing, transformational growth, and ultimately, lasting life change. CORRAL is intended as a long-term intervention for the youth, requiring a minimum of one year’s commitment from each participant, and anticipating a four to seven year commitment for each student with reapplication every year. The intention of CORRAL is to shepherd youth through their difficult teenage years and into college. The structure of CORRAL is based on five components: horseback riding, vocational training, tutoring, equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP), and mentorship. These components are designed to allow participants to gain equine knowledge and skills, and also develop the behaviors, attitudes, and skills necessary for success in life beyond horses. CORRAL accepts participants from referring agencies within the community including Human Services, local law enforcement, Juvenile Justice, Teen Court, school teachers and administrators, and other sources. Candidates are selected through an application and interview process. This process measures and compares level of risk and level of commitment with the end goal being that selected participants will demonstrate both a high level or risk and a high level of commitment.

German Shepherd Rescue of Sacramento Valley (GSRSV) is a tax-exempt (501-c-3) charitable organization dedicated to finding good homes for German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes whose caregivers can no longer keep them or which are confined in animal shelters.

501(c)(3) liaison between area shelters, rescues and the public, helping abused, neglected, lost and abandoned animals. FoKCA pays for medical treatment of ownerless dogs, cats and the like that would otherwise receive no attention, helps pay for medical services for pets experiencing life-threatening illness or injury when owners cannot afford upfront fees for emergency care, and secures rescue for shelter animals.

Provide a sanctuary for injured, abused, neglected, and unwanted horses; provide emergency relief, refuge, medical care, rehabilitation and adoption services; provide education of proper horse ownership, responsibility, health and care of horses; provide a community connection to all.

Wildlife Protection Solutions is an international non-profit group dedicated to the conservation of threatened and endangered species. We believe that the creation and application of new technology can augment traditional protection methods. We partner with a variety of organizations to implement systems which help preserve habitat and thwart poachers.

CODAR truly makes dreams come true for all animals rescued through our organization. We save animals from high kill shelters throughout the east coast states. We do not have a physical location for you to see our pets. All rescued animals are placed into our network of foster homes, vetted, and given the proper care, love and attention they deserve, until they find the forever family they so desperately need.

Bosley's Place is a rescue orphanage for newborn puppies located in Atlanta, GA.By taking in and caring for the homeless and orphaned underage puppies, Bosley's Place frees up foster homes for other dogs that otherwise might end up 'on death row' due to overcrowded shelters, helping to save many more lives.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless believes in the healing power of companion pets and of the human/animal bond which is very important in the lives of many homeless. They find solace, protection and companionship through their pets. They care for their pets on limited resources so they themselves have less. Our task, nationwide, is to feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to their pets and thus relieve the anguish and anxiety of the homeless who cannot provide for their pets. Through placement and prevention programs, Purrfect Pals works to end cat homelessness in the Puget Sound region – Because every cat matters. At Purrfect Pals, our highest priority is taking in the cats and kittens who need us most: those who other shelters and rescue groups might not have the resources to help. This includes older cats, cats with major medical needs, cats with chronic illnesses (including FIV and Feline Leukemia) and those with behavioral challenges.We find homeless cats, including those with special needs, loving homes. We believe that every cat is adoptable; some just need more time than others to find the right match. Our ultimate goal is to place them, but these cats have a loving home in our sanctuary for as long as they need us.
