Our shelters are always too full of animals that were born without waiting homes, puppies who grew too big, kittens who were no longer wanted when they grew up, and lost and disregarded animals. Even worse, our SPCA Hospital shelters animals who have been injured, become ill through neglect, been abandoned, abused, or grew old — each one in need of medical care, and each one potentially a loving and loyal companion. For many of these animals, the SPCA Hospital is their last hope. Please help us to help them!
The shelter is a registered, non-profit, charitable organization. The Oromocto & Area SPCA is not government funded and we rely on donations from the public and organize fundraising activities throughout the year to carry out the day-to-day operations of the shelter The goal of the Oromocto and Area SPCA is to find a home for every adoptable animal in our care. Currently, we are hoping to move into a new facility this year! On the "Donate Now" page, you have a choice as to whether you would like to donate to the General Operating Fund or the New Building Fund. Anything that you can give would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much for making us your charity of choice and helping us help the animals that come to our little shelter!
