If you would like to support a charity which greatly assists the elderly and vulnerable in our community – read on!We are an independent charity that cares for the local older community. We do not receive any regular funding or financial support and therefore rely on charitable donations, which are vital to keep us running. We provide a subsidised home cooked 3 course lunch 5 days a week, as well as other services such chiropody, hairdressing and a variety of activities and outings. We run a minibus service twice a week, to enable our more isolated members to attend the centre who are unable to access public transport due to frailty and poor mobility.We offer help, advice and care for the mental and physical well-being of our members. Our centre is often described by our members as a lifeline to them. All proceeds go directly back into Age Concern, so we can continue to offer this vital service for our members.
