Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue Mission Statement:To provide a sanctuary for saving lives. By rescuing wild mustangs and domestic horses, we provide sanctuary from being abused, abandoned, neglected, and ultimately sent to slaughter and instead focus on gentling and adoption.

Our Impact
over 6 years ago — Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue - Lancaster ranch
Your donations help us to care for our many rescued equines, including a donkey that was rescued in 1999 and named Jethro Bodine. Jethro was heading to slaughter before we rescued him. He was very gentle, he loved to be loved on and had a wonderful personality. He also had a bit of artistic ability. We would give him apples covered in food coloring and a blank canvas and he would paint with his mouth. We were able to love Jethro for ten years before he passed away but we have his amazing artwork to remember him by. This type of rescue and care could not happen without your help.
