CMSM was created to provide opportunities and venues for the professional performing arts community in and around the Mississauga area, to develop audiences for the future, and to enhance audience appreciation for high-quality, live performances. For the past 17 years, CMSM, with a strong board of directors, a committed and visionary AD, and support staff as needed, has consistently offered live and recorded musical performances within the guidelines of a sound financial and administrative structure, while maintaining a commitment to artistic and creative excellence. Looking to the future, CMSM aims to connect with the cultural mosaic of Mississauga by pursuing marketing opportunities through community media and social networking outlets with various ethnic and demographic foci. CMSM will support the diversity of our audience by continuing to present a comparable diversity of artists onstage.
