Roots and Roads Community Hospice Foundation was established as Casa de la Luz Foundation in 2000 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. In 2021, the Foundation changed its name to more fully encompass our community work and the reach of our programming. Roots and Roads is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors.
Our Goals are to: Increase access to swift financial support that alleviates stress and provides comfort to hospice patients across our community.
Promote the community’s understanding, value, and support of hospice and palliative care.
Encourage conversations and access to information, resources, and referrals for professionals and the public regarding end-of-life issues and bereavement services.
