Skydog Ranch & Sanctuary rescues at-risk wild mustangs and burros (and other equines) from auctions, kill pens, and unsafe situations, then provides lifelong care, rehabilitation, and—where possible—reunites family bands. The organization operates an 11-acre ranch in Malibu and a large open sanctuary in Oregon and emphasizes both animal welfare and public education/advocacy about the plight of wild horses and burros.
