Our Mission

The purpose of the project is to increase the access of disabled people to services, shops and restaurants in Iceland and Europe. The project has had great results in Iceland with over 500 ramps built. The mission now is to expand this project to Europe and build ramps to improve accessibility for disabled people in Europe.

The project is promoted by Haraldur Thorleifsson, former manager at Twitter and founder of the design company Ueno. The project is funded with generous donations of individuals, companies and organizations that want to contribute to ensuring accessibility for people with reduced mobility.
