Pledge to make a difference, together.
Hanseatic Help e.V. has been an active non profit organisation for the past six years. Our main field of work centres around both the collection of clothing, hygiene products, tents and sleeping bags as well as the subsequent distribution of these products to over 200 NGOs in Hamburg (e.g. Hamburger Tafel, GoBanyo, Bergedorfer Engel). Through our daily work we have been able to support over 100.000 people in Hamburg, ranging from homeless men and women, to the elderly, refugees and also families and single parents with low incomes. Besides the distribution of essential goods, we also offer reintegration programmes into the job market to people who have been long-term unemployed, people suffering from mental illnesses, people with migration backgrounds who are looking for work experience within the field of logistics, but also take part in the federal voluntary service programme (Bundesfreiwilligendienst). On top of this, we welcome between 150 to 200 volunteers regularly who support us with our daily logistic tasks, our social media content, fundraising but also the organisation of cultural events such as concerts. Hanseatic Help thus functions as a meeting point for a diverse, multicultural group of people. We welcome everyone with open arms, regardless of their cultural, ethnic or religious background, socio-economic status, gender, age or sexual orientation. Our organisation has grown substantially over the past years and we are continuously looking for funding to keep our organisation running. For this reason, we would be grateful if you would consider our organisation for your MILES charity program. If you have any questions regarding our work, please do not hesitate to contact us via email or phone. We look forward to hearing back from you and thank you very much in advance for your time and consideration.
