Pledge to make a difference, together.
Our Vision: A strong and active national women's support movement working together to advance young women in the Australian community, one woman at a time.
Our Mission: To empower young women to become resilient, independent and capable of taking their place in the world.
Our Purpose: To provide holistic evidence-based support programs to empower under-represented vulnerable young women to achieve independence through mental and financial wellbeing.
The Warrior Woman Foundation provides holistic evidence-based support programs for under-represented vulnerable young Australian women aged 17- 25+ years who lack the necessary familial or community support to become resilient and independent. We have a particular focus on young women at risk of not completing their final years of high school, young women leaving the out-of-home care system and young women who would simply benefit from some guidance and direction. Our flagship program, the 6-month Young Warrior Woman Program combines life-skills education, mental health support, and the connection to a safe and nurturing group of female mentors. The program has a strong focus on financial literacy and job readiness, as well as trauma healing, self-awareness, and personal growth. The program bridges the gap between adolescence and the "emerging adulthood" stage. To ensure that these young women do not fall through the cracks we provide a strong safety net of support which includes peer support, group mentoring and weekly one-to-one mentoring. Based on the Self Determination Theory, the Young Warrior Woman Program is designed to foster independence and overall well-being.
The Warrior Woman network was formed to bring like-minded individuals together to identify and create ways to support the young women of Australia who are our future, ensuring they are seen, heard, and valued. We are a strong and active national support movement of positive women who are mothers, business owners, community leaders, as well as advocates for the advancement of women in Australia.
