WorldSkills France is responsible for coordinating and/or organizing national and international skills competitions in France, mainly WorldSkills and Abilympics, in line with the values of WorldSkills International: improving the world through the power of skills, promoting trades, and highlighting their role in economic success and personal fulfillment. It also supports regions in organizing local competitions. As a non-profit with cultural and educational aims, its key missions are to: - Promote trades and those who practice them; - Support all vocational training and education pathways; - Raise public awareness of the value of skills and training; - Represent France in WorldSkills International, WorldSkills Europe, and Abilympics International networks; - Represent these international bodies within France.
To achieve this, WorldSkills France - COFOM: - Partners with public and professional institutions; - Offers expertise in organizing competitions; - Helps select and prepare Team France for global competitions; - Ensures accessibility for participants with disabilities; - Organizes communication events and builds partnerships; - Creates or partners with organizations that support its mission
