Our mission is to search out and correct problems causing the deterioration of safe, decent, and affordable housing; and the decline in homeownership. Our mission can be accomplished by the implementation of the following goals, objectives, and others: Provide safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate-income homebuyers; Encourage citizen participation in fighting crime; Promote enforcement of the City's Housing codes to insure the welfare, health, and safety of the community; Provide recreational and open green space; Promote improvements to the neighborhood's infrastructure (streets and sidewalks).
