The Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association (MCFA) is an industry‑based nonprofit that works to strengthen and sustain Maine’s fishing communities and coastal fisheries. MCFA advocates for community‑based fishermen, supports working waterfronts and seafood infrastructure, and runs programs (for example Fishermen Feeding Mainers) that connect local seafood, economic support for fishermen, and food security.
