Labouré College is the longest educator of nurses in Boston. They were founded by the Daughters of Charity, a Catholic order of nuns dedicated to caring for the sick and underserved with compassion. Over 125 years later, Labouré College carries on the Daughters’ mission with a strong commitment to educating diverse men and women who are called to a career in caring for others.
Labouré’s mission is to provide high quality education to prepare women and men for careers in nursing and healthcare. They seek to provide opportunities to a diverse population of students to continue their education as mature adults and responsible citizens.
Their proud legacy is over 8,000 alumni, caring for patients with skill and compassion in the Boston area and around the world.
